Prep Hoops Texas has recently updated the class of 2021 Texas player rankings. There were several newcomers that made their way onto the list from all over Texas, but here we breakdown the newcomers to the rankings list from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

| #87 | Jalen McGeeJalenMcGee5'9" | PGAbilene High School | 2021StateTX | Point Guard | Abilene High School |
McGee is not a Dallas kid, he’s actually from Abilene, a small city in West Texas, but he’s on this list because he deserved some recognition for the way he played during his junior season and throughout the summer. Last season he was awarded the 6A Offensive MVP and even led his team to the playoffs. Jalen McGeeJalenMcGee5'9" | PGAbilene High School | 2021StateTX is a pure floor general, good on-court leader, shows great point guard skills, has an all-around skill set with pure scoring abilities, very capable of leading a team in points and assists in each game. Jalen is as dangerous as they come, besides his height, there aren’t many limitations to his game, even his size doesn’t hinder him much.
