Class of 2020: College Commitment Breakdown (D-III)
Barring any last minute decisions, the college destinations of the Class of 2020 in Oregon have been determined and this month, many of those getting ready to start their college basketball careers will have enrolled in school. Division III can be a little hard to track as there are no official signees, but here’s our list of those who are heading to the Division III level. This list will be adjusted as we learn of new players added this winter.

Breakdown: As is usually the case, the in-state members of the Northwest Conference successfully recruited most of the players that went the D-III route for college although the raw numbers were fewer than years. Pacific rounded up the most players this year, starting from right in their backyard in Guy Littlefield Guy Littlefield 6'0" | PG Forest Grove | 2020 State OR of Forest Grove to into Portland for Cayden Wagner Cayden Wagner 6'0" | CG Franklin | 2020 State OR and then down I-5 to Phoenix for Ethan Hutsell Ethan Hutsell 6'5" | PF Phoenix | 2020 State OR . George Fox nabbed James Moore James Moore 6'3" | CG Blanchet Catholic | 2020 State OR and Linfield added J.J. Anderson of Marist, while all-around combo guard Sam Noland Sam Noland 6'1" | CG Tualatin | 2020 State OR of Tualatin headed north to Washington to attend Pacific Lutheran.
Following the trend of years past, a couple of guys will head south to California for college. Big man Andrew Ingalls Andrew Ingalls 6'7" | PF Mountainside | 2020 State OR helped Mountainside make history this season and will now be playing at Chapman while defensive-stopper Sam Abere Sam Abere 6'1" | CG Lake Oswego | 2020 State OR of Lake Oswego will be at Redlands. Abere actually originally committed to Whitman but decided to follow head coach Eric Bridgeland when he made the decision to move to Southern California.
A few graduates will head East to college. Dynamic point guard Blake Lambert Blake Lambert 5'4" | PG Life Christian | 2020 State OR of Life Christian will make the longest journey, heading to New England College in New Hampshire. Conner Marchant Conner Marchant 6'0" | CG Toledo | 2020 State OR of 2A champs Toledo will be at Southern Virginia, joined by older brother and 2016 Toledo grad Isaac Marchant. Finally, high-scoring Matt Eidler Matt Eidler 6'5" | SF Trinity Lutheran | 2020 State OR of 1A Trinity Lutheran is off to the Midwest to attend Concordia in Wisconsin after considering a number of different options.
