While these such players have not received grand recognition, they have proved for their respective teams time and time again just how well they can deliver in key games and lead them to pivotal wins. Each of these players are ones to watch for the upcoming season.
2021 Addison Arnold — Royal
Addison Arnold has all the makings to orchestrate a sound scoring campaign this upcoming season. He has strong potential as a quality efficient 3-point specialist thanks to his follow-through extension on his shot and arc on it as well, which makes it difficult for opponents to contest. He is a streaky shooter but when he gets going, he is as efficient as it gets. Keys for his upcoming season include expanding his shooting range and working more on creating separation against defenders on catch-and-shoot attempts. His attempts per game may also rise as well this season.

Langston Redfield Langston Redfield 6'3" | PG Capistrano Valley | 2021 State CA-S is one quality playmaker to watch and already a talent that has gained much-deserved recognition as of late. He is very crafty as a passer with excellent accuracy and precision when dishing out passes to teammates. He is far from a reckless passer but possesses sound court vision, even in half-court sets. As a scorer, he is tough to contain when driving inside. Redfield does well to keep possession amidst heavy traffic inside the paint and simply finds a way to finish off attempts. For a dual-threat offensive talent like Redfield, he is sure to be a player talent due for a prolific senior season.
2021 Steven Jamerson — Crespi
Crespi’s Steven Jamerson is among the bigs in the CIF Southern Section poised for a superb senior season. The 6’8” forward is mobile in the paint on both ends of the floor. He has good footwork to get to his spots and drives the ball well when outside the painted area, which makes him unpredictable for defenses. He is a promising scorer who must continue to work on winning physical duels in the paint. The senior certainly has what it takes to back down defenders in the post and go for high percentage attempts. The potential is there for Jamerson.
2022 Michael Miller — Oak Hills
Michael Miller is one skilled combo guard to watch. The 6’2” talent is one who plays with superb quickness when on the ball, which certainly pays off when he is driving to the rim. Miller is creative when finishing at the basket and can will his way to taking on contact before an attempt. He is very elusive when in the perimeter as well. He has good awareness to take notice of possible mismatches and exploit such isolation duels. More importantly, Miller is a team-first talent and one who has that knack to will his team through lengthy scoring runs.
Look for Miller to post a strong breakout campaign over his upcoming junior season for Oak Hills.
