When the conversation of Class 4-A Basketball in the State Of Louisiana comes up, the names of a few Programs stand out and brings certain thoughts to your mind such as legacy, powerhouse, tradition, and championships.
Central Louisiana is home to one of those Programs. The Peabody Warhorses.
The Peabody Warhorses have set the bar for which most Programs, not just in Class 4-A, but in the entire State of Louisiana, are measured not by. not just the multiple District and State Championships they have won over the year, but also for the number of players they have seen graduate their careers to the next level.
The Peabody Program is not the only Class 4-A Program in Central Louisiana to have success and see a number of its players move on to the next level over the years.
The Tioga Indians have produced a 9 year run that have included 9 consecutive playoff appearance and 4 district championships during that span.
Both Programs have sent a number of its players off to the college ranks and the 2020-2021 season is looking to be no different for the Warhorses, Indians, and other Cenla Class 4-A Programs.
