: He came into the event as one of the only ranked players but he didn’t come in with any type of ego, working hard through the skills and drills session. Once games began he showcased the talent that has high major programs interested in his services, scoring the ball with ease from all levels.
West Carteret 2023 Guard Dylan McBride: Although he got off to a slow start he turned it up quickly and was a huge part of his team making a big time run. He knocks down the trey ball at a very high rate and also showed he can make plays off the dribble.
Westover HS 2021 Guard Darius Jewell: His scoring ability is an attribute that we have seen from him consistently over the last year but in this setting he spent more time at the PG spot. Although he’s still figuring it all out, he showed some flashes of being a player that can play both Guard spots and is one to keep an eye on.
St. Pauls HS 2022 Guard Jeyvian Tatum Jeyvian Tatum 6'3" | CG St Paul's | 2022 State NC proved that he can play with the best of them as he matched up with one of the best prospects in the state and competed hard. Whether it was setting up teammates or going to get a bucket when his team needed it he did a bit of everything.
Laney HS 2024 Guard Josh Helms is a player that we definitely will be keeping an eye on over the next few years. He’s already showing potential to be a special prospect and plays the game at his own pace despite how he’s being guarded. You don’t see too many youngsters approach the game how he does and we expect him to make contributions at Laney sooner than later.
Jacksonville HS 2024 Forward Ireione Seright was a prospect that just about every evaluator in the gym asked about. He’s physically advanced, and showcased his ability to score and rebound at a nice rate.
