Darien Lewis Darien Lewis 6'1" | PG Fern Creek | 2022 State KY , Griffin Elite – One of the more underrated players in the 6th region, Lewis was really good on Saturday against Manimal Elite. Darien gets outstanding elevation on his jump shot and used that elevation to knock down a couple of mid range jumpshots in the second half and hit the wing 3 to put Griffin up 4 with less than a minute left.
Tim Hall Tim Hall 6'6" | PF Westminster Catawba | 2023 State SC , Manimal Elite – Hall is possibly the most athletic player in the state. If you’re looking for guy with tremendous straight line speed and ability to jump out of the gym, Tim is your guy. More impressively on Saturday, Hall was clearing every rebound in range and blocking or altering shots around the rim. His offense struggled a little but he cleaned up around the rim and had a very good all around game.
Rico Cole-Carr, Louisville Legends – Rico has had a strong fall between the Fall League and The Invite. He’s shown the ability to score the ball all over the court and looks like he should be a very solid player in the 8th region this year after struggling to get in a rhythm last season after his transfer from Ballard. Cole-Carr is going to score a lot of points this year.
Tucker Blanford Tucker Blanford 6'6" | SF Bullitt East | 2022 State KY , Louisville Prospects – Don’t let his modest Sophomore stats fool you, Tucker has a chance to be an impact player in the 6th region this season. Blanford can play around the rim or stretch the floor out past the three point line. Armed with a blue collar mentality, Blanford could be a double-double every time out this season.
George Washington George Washington 6'0" | PG St. Michael's | 2020 KY III, Manimal 15u – Recently arrived in the state from Texas, Washington is already being touted as one of the best young players in the state and has already shown flashes of a high major recruit in the near future. Washington is skilled and long and has shown himself to be pretty bouncy around the rim. As the 23 class progresses, he could be the best of the bunch.
