Comeh Emuobor Comeh Emuobor 6'4" | CG Brewster Academy | 2023 State #198 Nation NC made an appearance with Team EAT and proved a solid addition with his ability to attack the rim and make plays. He knocked down five 3-pointers, eight free throws and while averaging 11.3 ppg.
Jeremy Gregory Jeremy Gregory 6'8" | PF Oak Hill Academy | 2022 State NC and Daniel Sanford Daniel Sanford 6'8" | PF JL Chambers | 2022 State NC were a standout frontcourt duo for Team Charlotte in the 16U Orange Division. Gregory finished fifth in the division in scoring average (19.7 ppg) and fourth in total points (59) while also getting to the free throw line. He finished second in the division with 22 made free throws. Sanford posted 10.0 ppg, showing off his ability to defend the rim and run the floor and finish in traffic.
Trey Green Trey Green 5'10" | PG Link Academy | 2023 #69 Nation MO and Davion Cunningham Davion Cunningham 6'1" | CG North Mecklenberg | 2022 State NC manned the backcourt for Team Charlotte 16U squad and they showed their cohesiveness. Green did well knocking down 3-pointers, finishing tied for fourth in the division with six 3-pointers made. He put up 12.3 ppg. Cunningham posted 9.3 ppg while showing off his ability to distribute in the backcourt and shoot the 3-ball a little bit with three made 3-pointers.
Another top performer in the 16U Orange division was Freddie Dilione Freddie Dilione 6'6" | SG Word of God | 2023 #37 Nation NC . He posted 22.0 ppg and finished with 66 total points, both third in the division when it was all said and done. He’s much more deliberate attacking the rim with the ball in his hands. He closed out the weekend with a 31-point performance in a two-point victory.
Trey Horton Trey Horton 6'4" | SG Hough | 2023 State NC led the way from behind the arc for Team Curry, knocking down eight 3-pointers at Rock the Rock, as their 15U squad played in the 16U Orange division. He’s a prospect that’s emerged as a sharpshooter this summer with one of the top squads on the grassroots scene.
Joshua Stevenson Joshua Stevenson 5'11" | CG Berry | 2022 State NC and Daeron Smith Daeron Smith 6'6" | C West Mecklenburg | 2022 State NC were two prospects that turned heads for the Charlotte Dragons in the 16U Blue Division. Smith is an aggressive frontcourt prospect that attacks the rim with aggression and hits the boards relentlessly. He finished third in the division in scoring average (20.3 ppg) and total points (61). Stevenson is an emerging lead guard that looks to get to the rim and finish in traffic. He put up 11.3 ppg and three made 3-pointers at Big Shots Rock the Rock.
Brock Adams Brock Adams 6'4" | SF Lake Prep | 2022 State NC is another young point guard prospect to keep an eye on. He finished fourth in the Blue Division in scoring average with 19.7 ppg and fifth in total points (59). He showed off his ability to fill it up with the ball in his hands on all three levels and get to the free throw line with 13 made free throws, first in the division. He put up 30 points in the final game for Carolina Zoom, knocking down six 3-pointers as well. He’s been a growing name on the Big Shots stage.
Xavier McKelvy Xavier McKelvy 6'2" | CG United Faith Christian | 2022 State NC lit up the Big Shots stage as well in the 16U Blue Division. He led the division in total points (85) while averaging a division-best 28.3 ppg at Rock the Rock. He poured in 42 points along with three 3-pointers in a win over WV Reign Elite. He’s an electric guard that’s relentless getting to the rim and scoring in traffic.
