The big-time football prospect handled his business in the paint. At 6-foot-5 with a hulking build, Overton had no problem scoring at the rim and using his size to carve out space. He had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals against the Atlanta All-Stars and later collected 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in the title game against the Georgia Stars. Overton has similar qualities to that of future NFL defensive lineman Travon Walker who anchored Upson-Lee in two state title runs.
2023 6-0 G TJ Holmes – TSF Mack 2023 – Pebblebrook
Built like a running back, TJ Holmes is a power-packed guard that’s strapped with muscle. He brought great energy when he came in off the bench. Holmes could put his head down and drive hard baseline. His quickness gives him some upside as a defender. The southpaw averaged 6 points over two games and caused problems with his athleticism, able to press up on opposing ball handlers.
2023 5-11 PG Brandon Rechsteiner Brandon Rechsteiner 6'0" | PG Etowah | 2023 State #193 Nation GA – Atlanta Xpress (Wallace) – Etowah

He’s a knockdown three-point shooter that plays with some swagger. He had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against the Norcross Heat. He should have a break out season this year.

2023 6-5 PF Kris Cassel – Norcross Heat – Meadowcreek
A tough-nosed football player, Kris Cassel is a low maintenance player that simply does his job. He defends and rebounds and provides a physical presence in the paint that is able to mix it up with taller players. Cassel can hit the mid-range jumper, but is best at cleaning up misses inside. He’s a valuable piece as a guy that will do what it takes to get the job done.
