VARSITY Scrimmage Evaluations: Week 1

Jaden TerrellJadenTerrell6'5" | SFWheeling | 2021StateIL – Wheeling – 2021

Jaden TerrellJadenTerrell6'5" | SFWheeling | 2021StateIL has made huge strides in his game over that past year. His incredibly long 6’6” frame, massive wing span, and much improved ability to handle the ball in the open floor coupled with his ability to score at all 3 levels has led to two offers from Arkansas-Little Rock and Detroit so far. He lets the game come to him and takes advantage of breakdowns and weaknesses in his opponent. It’s a mystery as to why no one in state has offered yet.

Josiah McDonald – Vernon Hills – 2021

Slasher with great body control when attacking and finishing at the rim. Competitor with the athleticism to guard the ball in open space and played with a motor, diving on the floor for loose balls. Threat from three.

Solomon HudsonSolomonHudson6'0" | PGWheeling | 2021IL – Wheeling – 2021

Floor general and leader. Strong yet smooth when attacking the rim. Adept at drawing contact and finishing. Strength and athleticism allows him to guard multiple positions.

Julian Triffo – Maine South – 2022

Tall, long frame. Adept at scoring with and without the ball. Best when getting to the rim. Sees floor well and above average passer that can create shots for others.

PJ Rossi – Maine South – 2022

Very efficient at scoring 15-feet and in. Strong area rebounder that competes on both ends of the floor.

Gage Messmer – Lake Forest – 2021

Big motor and runs the floor hard. Very strong finisher at the rim against contact. Moves well without the ball and finds openings to score. Tough and physical on the glass on both ends.

SOPHOMORE Scrimmage evaluations: Week 1

Ryder Spector – Deerfield – 2023

Developing big man that runs the floor hard and finishes well around the rim. Tough area rebounder. Can also score off 1-2 bounces in the half court.

Gavin Marr – Glenbrook South – 2023

Slasher that is still a threat from the outside. Very fluid in the open court and sees the floor well. Plays with great energy evident in his knack for tracking down long rebounds.

Rocco Lavista – Libertyville – 2023

Quick first step and tough driving to the rim to finish through contact. Plays bigger than his size.

John Atzeff – Lake Forest – 2023

Strong handle that allows him to create for self and others off the bounce. Pays with great poise and a motor. Slasher that can also hurt you from three.

Luke Meyers – Glenbrook South – 2023

Strong driver that is also very crafty around the rim with the ability to finish with either hand. Showed ability to make the three. Consistently gave multiple efforts on defensive possessions when on the floor.

Brennan Moore – Walter Payton (Chicago) – 2023

Long athlete that consistently finished at the rim through contact. Also very active on the glass on both ends.

FRESHMEN Scrimmage Evaluations: Week 1

Jacob Bahrani – Libertyville – 2024

Shifty athletic guard with good length that gets to the rim at will in transition and the half court. Also consistently got into passing lanes for deflections and steals.

Dylan Chung – Vernon Hills – 2024

Undersized but incredibly high IQ and great feel for the game. Very solid fundamentals for his age. Floor general that can get to any spot on the floor to make a play. Very strong passer with great vision. Ability to create space for a shot and adept shooter from three.
