We’ve also taken the liberty of watching many games via live stream and replay during the “new normal.” Here is a look at five wings from the class of 2022 who respectively improved their stock throughout August.
Logan Blair Logan Blair 6'3" | SF St. John's | 2022 State MD | New World/St. John’s (DC)
Blair has embraced his role while being productive this summer. He is a solid defender on the wing who will rebound and can make shots.
James Patterson James Patterson 6'2" | SG Meadowbrook | 2021 VA | Team Richmond/Carmel (VA)
Patterson is a tall slasher who plays with a consistently high motor and plays both ends of the floor. He is a grab-and-go threat who is best in transition where he can apply pressure on the rim.
Travis Roberts | Prospect U/Bishop Walsh (MD)
Roberts is a talented shot-maker with size and a nice base skill set. He has made strides on the defensive end, and continued growth in this department will only make him a better player.
CJ Scott CJ Scott 6'4" | SF Archbishop Spalding | 2022 MD | Team Melo/Archbishop Spalding (MD)
Scott’s versatility is his main selling point. He has good size and can play on or off the ball. Scott’s ability to play and defend multiple positions is a plus given that he can fit into various lineup combinations as a result.
Masai Troutman Masai Troutman 6'5" | SF St. Andrew's | 2022 State MD | Team Takeover/St. Andrew’s (MD)
Troutman is an elite athlete with a budding skill set and a nice looking jumper. He oozes big-time potential on both ends of the floor and his recruitment is starting to reflect that.
