Demarcus Wesley (Illinois Hoopstars Central)
Wesley is a 6’4” power forward with a long and athletic build where he should definitely continue growing moving forward. Extremely bouncy around the hoop as he showed blocking a ton of shots. Major rim protector already. Finished dump off passes and even drilled a mid-range pull up set up by nice handles.
Davon Prude (Illinois Hoopstars Central)
Prude is a Champaign Central 6’5” power forward that is another projectable prospect. He was extremely active on the defensive end as a shot blocker and rebounded well throughout the first event of the summer.
Kyle Olagbegi (Illinois T-Wolves)
The 6’3” wing has a thick body with long arms. Was impactful on both ends with how he rebounded, got to the foul line, and hit a three. Defensively he blocked a shot and used his length to get a steal he took the other way.
Tylon Toliver (Illinois T-Wolves)
This 6’1” Lincoln Way East point guard saw his stock rise with back to back strong outings at different events. Athletic guard who has a stocky frame. His combination of those two make him adept to finish in the paint with power or maneuver his body for acrobatic finishes. Gets to the line at a high rate.
Jayden Martin (Illinois T-Wolves)
The 6’2” guard brought toughness to the table along with scoring pop. He was a three level scorer hitting threes, mid-range shots, and got to the cup for floaters. Martin was able to make passes on the move which were impressive for such a young prospect. Also got after it on the defensive end.
Bryce Shoto Bryce Shoto 5'6" | PG Plainfield Central | 2023 State IL (HIT)
Shoto is a smaller point guard that has a tight handle weaving through traffic. Gets to the foul line. Good passer that plays the game with flair.
Mike Gardner (Illinois Hoopstars)
Really like the upside with the Bloom 2023 6’7” power forward. He was a shot blocking machine in the game we caught. Good timing and anticipation swatting and altering attempts. Defense is ahead of his offense, but is pretty fluid so once he gets a couple go to moves he should be good to go.
Jacob Williams (The Work Foundation)
This 6’4” forward is a big bodied prospect that finished well around the hoop and was a tough defender. One play he got a steal for a layup and followed it up with a steal off the inbounds pass for an assist.
Michael Ratliff (The Work Foundation)
The Thronwood 6’2” lefty two guard was excellent attacking off the bounce and getting to the foul line. He converted a handful of and-1s with his body control at the cup. Also was able to turn defense into offense on a regular basis.
Jeremiah Akin (HIT)
Akin stands at 6’2” and this wing runs the floor well in transition, can put it on the deck from the mid-post area, and hit the glass well for his size.
Aaron Miramontes (Illinois Outwork)
This 6’4” Morton post is a wide bodied and undersized five man that did work inside! Scored on an array of post scores getting deep position on the block. Efficient with his touches. Really good area rebounder that snatched them at a high rate.
Armani Ivy (Windy City All-Stars)
Ivy is a 6’2” two guard from Larkin. Strong wing that handles it in the open floor. Has a floater game and can take a hit at the hoop. Best getting to the basket off the bounce and in transition.
Kuba Senczyszyn (Windy City All-Stars)
This Dundee Crown 6’4” power forward is a good athlete that presents skill as well. Mid-range shooter that can stretch it out to three on occasion. Bouncy on the offensive glass. Quick moves in the lane.
Andre Beasley (Old God)
The 5’9” point guard was quick in tight spaces. He got to the foul line at a high rate winning off the dribble and not being afraid of contact at the cup. Sound perimeter shooter that drilled two triples along with a very difficult step back jumper. His speed really stood out as well.
