Jaydin Dunlap (Champaign Heat)
Dunlap is a 6’1” point guard from Bolingbrook that is jet quick with the rock in his hands. Was best turning defense to offense in the open floor with his speed. Brought consistent play to the table for the Heat.
Mikey Brown (The Work Foundation)
The 5’10” point guard is a stocky built guard that can really shoot it from mid-range. Excellent pull up game. His compact strength allows him to take a bump at the cup.
Shallah Davis (Illinois Outwork)
This strong bodied small forward was effective playing up on the 17U level. Power wing that goes through defenders at the rim. Capable shooter although he does have a slight hitch at the top.
Joseph Rodriguez (HIT)
The Taft 6’5” four man is a power player that uses a combination of physicality, footwork, and touch around the hoop for scores. Efficient with his post touches.
Matt Sommerville (Illinois Hoopstars National)
Sommerville is a 6’6” small forward also from CPS power Whitney Young. All around quality athlete that made an impact on both ends. He was quick to the offensive glass for put backs. Made a couple nice dishes off a live dribble. Drilled a mid-range jumper. On the defensive end he had an impressive swat.
Jeremiah Jones Jeremiah Jones 6'4" | SF Plainfield South | 2021 IL (Illinois Hoopstars National)
This Marian Catholic 6’3” shooting guard had a monster summer. Rangy and athletic defensive player that can check either backcourt spot. He is a sound three point shooter off the catch and his athleticism plays well in transition.
Dashawn Wells (DiverseCity)
Wells is a 6’5” power forward out of Peoria High School. The thick bodied forward has a knack for getting stuff done. Works well from 15 feet in putting it on the deck a couple dribbles and getting right to the rim. Also connected on a couple mid-range shots. Solid defender in the post.
Eli Hofmann ( Archangels )
Hofmann is another stock riser from the summer. He can really shoot the ball as a 5’10” point guard. Crisp and quick release. Has some moxie to him finishing inside on scoop shots and off hand layups.
Turner Plumer ( Archangels )
Plumer is a plus athlete at 6’5” that showed his bounce around the hoop on multiple occasions including throwing down alley-oops. Long forward is quick to the offensive glass and makes assertive moves in the paint. Has some upside.
Koen Derry ( Archangels )
Derry is a 6’6” power forward from Galesburg. He has bounce to his game blocking shots defensively and playing above the rim on the offensive side. Presents upside long term.
Denium Juette (Illinois Jaguars)
Juette is a 6’3” combo guard with good length and an angular build. Like what this lefty did with his quickness off the bounce. Won off the dribble at a good rate and got to the foul line consistently. X-Factor type player.
Jordan Streeter (Illinois Jaguars)
The 6’6” small forward has a long and lanky build. He took it to the rim over and over on straight line takes. Bounce at the cup. Can also connect from three. Like the two way potential here.
Chris Hammonds (Illinois Jaguars)
Hammonds is a 6’3” two guard from Lincoln Park. Long and lanky wing that rebounded at a high rate flying in from the perimeter snatching boards in traffic. Flashed a mid-range jumper as well.
