Fisher Darden Fisher Darden 6'2" | CG Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2022 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach – Manzer (pictured on the front)
Darden was very solid weekend long with his play. Darden a good size shooting guard will move up to Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach this season after playing at Waccamaw HS. Darden averaged 21 ppg and moonlighted with the Manzer 17U in other games. Darden has a good shot release and form. Darden looks to still be growing and filling out with his frame.
Mikah Nelson Mikah Nelson 6'5" | SF Carolina Forest | 2022 State SC – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach – CF Elite
Nelson has had a good summer when he has been playing on the Grassroots Circuit. Nelson was efficient around the basket today along with knocking down a few short jumpers. Nelson played with the Upward Stars Pee Dee and Confidence Cougars this summer. Nelson has decided to make a move over to Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach for this coming season.
Jonah Nesmith Jonah Nesmith 6'5" | SF Carolina Forest | 2022 State SC – Carolina Forest HS (Myrtle Beach) – CF Elite
Nesmith was efficient around the basket today with his play. Nesmith and Nelson both rebounded the ball well on both ends of the floor. Nesmith can step-out to the perimeter and knockdown jumpers. Nesmith was active in the passing lanes and picked up several deflections today with his play.
C.J. Bennett-Shaffer – Cane Bay HS – Grind Time Grinders
Bennett-Shaffer a left-handed rangy forward had been playing all summer with Carolina Ballin. Bennett-Shaffer who is home-schooled told Prep Hoops that he plans on playing at Cane Bay HS this coming season. Bennett-Shaffer has great length and seems to do his best work from 10-12 feet. Bennett- Shaffer will be a nice addition to the Cobras this season.
Cooper Knight – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant) – Lowcountry Storm 2022
Knight 5’8 a left-handed guard played today with a fearless attitude and determination. Knight scrapped for every point he picked up here vs Team Trezz. Knight isn’t flashy at all with his play but if heart counts this kid plays with a HUGE heart. Knight got to the foul line at a good rate today along with just taking the ball to the rack and absorbing contact.
