Josh Johnson Josh Johnson 5'11" | SG South Garner | 2022 State NC – South Garner HS – No Guts No Glory (pictured on the front)
Johnson a left-handed point guard is a great leader on the floor. Johnson really communicates well with his teammates and has a good feel for the game. Johnson never seemed to leave the floor today and logged a ton of minutes. Johnson was really able to distribute the ball and get his teammates involved into the offense.
Elijah Harris – Athens Drive HS (Raleigh) – No Guts No Glory
Harris has GREAT MITTS in the paint. Harris could catch a aspirin if thrown to him. Harris is very nimble on his feet for his size. Harris a mover-screener type absorbs contact well and was able to finish several shots around the basket.
Mayar Wol Mayar Wol 6'8" | SF Word of God | 2023 State #157 Nation NC – Fuquay-Varina HS – Hoop Wall Street
Wol was on top of his game here again today. Wol has had a good summer playing on the Grassroots Circuit. Wol has great length and wingspan. Wol had the MOTOR running constantly today if it was filling in the lane in transition or tearing down a rebound on either end of the floor. Wol brings great versatility to the floor with his ability to defend out on the perimeter. Wol is a very quick leaper off the floor and was able to challenge several shots today.
Kevion Waller Kevion Waller 5'5" | PG J.H. Rose | 2022 State NC – J.H. Rose HS (Greenville) – Team Trezz Loftin
Waller helped his squad win the 16U bracket this weekend. Waller a left-handed point guard was able to connect on some three pointers today and has the ability to break down defenders very well. Waller is crafty with the ball and was able to penetrate the gaps all day long. Waller 5’7 averaged 14.3 ppg, 4 assists and 3.2 steals last season for the Rampants (23-4).
Khouri Carvey Khouri Carvey 6'9" | C Community Christian Academy | 2022 State NC – Community Christian (Wilson) – Team Trezz Loftin
Prep Hoops has seen Carvey several times this summer on a few different teams. Carvey will reclassify this come season and have a change of address. Carvey played at Fike HS (Wilson) last season and averaged 8.6 ppg for the Demons. Carvey likes to play face-up to the basket at times from the elbow in. Carvey has good length and the ability to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Carvey shows to have a nice touch on the foul line.
