The summer season is vital for high school players as it can help springboard their recruitment. A prospect who is able to string together strong performances throughout the summer will see his stock rise. The 2021 class is a prime example of this as some players rose up the rankings despite the COVID-19 pandemic limiting the amount of competition. Here are the stock risers from the updated 2021 rankings.

Pierce had a stellar summer for the Jersey Force Select team as he showed his ability to run the offense. The 6’2 guard was almost impossible to keep out of the lane and continuously made tough layups in traffic. Pierce made several slicks passes throughout the summer and played with confidence when the ball was in his hands. He is a solid on-ball defender and used his athleticism to get chase down blocks. Pierce is a skilled guard prospect who will make his college coach very happy at the next level.
