This list is full of new names, stock risers, and tried and true ballers who have proved themselves on the prep scene.
The top five is similar to the one that finished last school year with one exception. Keon Coleman Keon Coleman 6'4" | SG Opelousas Catholic | 2021 State LA , from Opelousas Catholic, was the most exciting player on the grassroots circuit and is now the number three rated player. He will definitely set his sights on the top spot with his downhill driving ability and his tenacious defense to go with the improved range on his jumper.
Rounding out the top five is Derrick Tezeno Derrick Tezeno 6'5" | SF North Central | 2021 State LA (North Central), Carlos Stewart, Jr. (Dunham), Daniel Ortiz Daniel Ortiz 6'1" | CG Calvary Baptist | 2021 State LA (Calvary Baptist), and E’maryeon McDonald (Scotlandville).
These rankings are minus Camryn Carter, an up-and-coming prospect who was going to compete for a top five spot, has moved on to Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut. He would have definitely pushed this group mentioned above.
