During the months of July and August a ton of new players emerged from the state of Illinois with their play on the PrepHoops Circuit.  Here we dive into that here in our 2021 Illinois Prep Hoops Circuit Breakout Performers Pt 1!

Nick Spannaus (Illinois Hoopstars Willis)

The 6’7” forward brings versatility on both ends.  Extremely athletic around the hoop and quick to the offensive glass.  He also connected on an array of threes.  Smooth release with a feathery touch from deep.  Also threw down a nice alley-oop.  Tons of upside here!

Damarcies Moore (Team MORE Smothers)

Moore is a long and rangy combo forward that projects most likely as a face up four at the college level.  I was very impressed with the way he shot it from deep.  Smooth looking shot that came off his hands easy.  Quick bounce off the floor getting to the glass.  Brings versatility on the defensive end as well.

Adam Claybourne Jr (Team MORE Smothers)

The rising senior has good length and played with energy from his wing spot.  Puts head down and gets to the basket.  Showed a knack for scoring.
