High School basketball has been postponed until March at the earliest in California, and multiple players have continued to take part in various grassroots events in other parts of the country.

One of those events, the Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp was held this weekend in Utah. The camp featured some of the top talent in the classes of 2023 and 2024 on the West Coast.

Here’s a look at some of the local Southern California players who participated in the camp.

1. Jeremiah WhitmoreJeremiahWhitmore6'5" | PFCorona Centennial | 2023 - Corona Centennial 2023

Whitmore is very athletic and very strong. He has good length for a wing. Can finish strong around the rim. Long armed defensive player that contests shots in the paint. He can act as a shot blocker and alters many more shots. Good man to man defender and good help defender. Can get out and run in transition; handle the ball on the break. Good rebounder, active around the rim. Gets offensive put backs.

2. Xavier EdmondsXavierEdmonds6'8" | PFBishop Montgomery | 2023 - Bishop Montgomery 2023

Edmonds is another big man with a nice combination of size and skill. He can establish post position and he takes his time when making a
