Davion Wright Davion Wright 6'3" | SG Franklin | 2022 CA-N 6’2 Combo Guard, Franklin HS (Elk Grove, CA)
Wright has a strong and muscular body to handle the physical play of the game, a college body. He can be effective at both guard positions, he’s shown capable handles, patience, and an ability to direct the teams offense when called upon. He has the ability to take his man off the dribble, get into the paint and score in a variety of ways. He’s a proven shot maker with good range, when he gets into a scoring mode he’s tough to guard. He has good composure and carries himself well on the court. 14.4 ppg, 3.9 rebs. He has attracted DI attention.
Derrick Claxton Derrick Claxton 6'6" | SF Inderkum | 2022 WA 6’5 Wing, Inderkum HS (Sacramento, CA)
Claxton, a good size player with lots of upside to his game, is expected to have a breakout season. He’s an effective scorer in the key with a nice touch off the glass. He averaged 15.6 per game and was named All-League in the Capital Valley Conference. He runs the floor in transition and finishes strong going towards the rim including dunks. His length, and long reach allows him to be an effective defender who can change, block shots, and rebound. 8.8 rebs, 1.9 blocks, 1.8 steals per game. He’s on Wright’s Player to Watch list.
Brycen Shackleford 6’5 Wing, Folsom HS (Folsom, CA)
Shackelford has set himself up for a breakout season based on his production last season 9.5 ppg, 4.5 rebs, and this summers work. He’s expanded areas of his game in the areas most needed, on the perimeter. His ability to get to the rim and finish from the wings, and hitting the outside shot raises his game. His moving and cutting to the basket without the ball consistently has made him a good finisher around the hoop. He’s long, wiry with good lateral movement and instincts. He’ll rebound 4.8, defend, and run the floor in transition.
Dajon Lott Dajon Lott 6'9" | C Elk Grove | 2022 State CA-N 6’8 Wing/ Forward, Elk Grove HS (Elk Grove, CA)
Lott a long wiry prospect is going to have to spend some time in the weight room, nevertheless he has a good upside, he seems capable of being an effective player on the wings, knowing he can go get a bucket inside when needed. He averaged 9.3 ppg. If he develops his skill set playing on the wings, he can become a problem, and raise his stock. He can change shots, and rebound, he averaged 7 rebs, 2.1 blocks. He should be a double double guy next season.
Ameere Britton Ameere Britton 6'0" | CG Elk Grove | 2022 State CA-N 6’0 Guard, Elk Grove HS (Elk Grove, CA)
Britton plays along side Lott at Elk Grove, they should form quite a duo in the next couple of seasons at Elk Grove. Britton’s a rising player in the area, he led his team in scoring 14.4, assists 3.1, and steals 2.1. He brings a balanced game to the court making it hard for defenders to contain him, he can go left or right on the drive, take on bigger defenders in the paint, and has a solid mid-range jumper that he gets good lift on. He’s an aggressive on ball defender, the pesky type.
