There was plenty of talent that came through Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri this past weekend at The Finale hosted by Prep Hoops.

The 17U and 16U divisions were deep with teams and prospects and the younger divisions had some really good performances as well.

Here is a look at some of the standout performers I saw.

EJ Williams | 6-3 | Gateway Basketball Knights/Missouri Westminster Christian

Williams had a very nice showing for the Gateway Basketball Knights in a Saturday loss to Gamepoint Inland. The 2022 strong athlete lived at the free throw line and was always on the attack. Williams is a consistent threat on both ends and is as physical as can be.

Jimmy NixonJimmyNixon6'3" | PGSt. Thomas More | 2022StateIL | 6-3 | Champaign Heat/Illinois St. Thomas More

Illinois is known for hard nosed guards and Nixon fits the bill. The 2022 guard played at a high level in a Saturday afternoon win over H&H Elite. He gets up and down the floor with ease, can shoot it a high clip and finishes with flash. Nixon has a good mix of size and speed.
