Ty Robinson Ty Robinson 6'5" | SF Eaglecrest | 2021 State CO – Colorado Hawks
Robinson is a player with a smooth game that allows everything to flow. He found spots in the defense, hit his shot from outside, which shifted the defense a bit, and he also caught the highlight play on the day when he finished an and-1 alley-oop dunk. Robinson is an underrated defender that can defend all five positions. He is not easily backed down inside, has the foot speed to defend on the perimeter, and also turns defense to offense.
Brody Gish Brody Gish 5'11" | CG Doherty | 2021 State CO – Pluto Prospects
Gish was a glue guy for Pluto Prospects that did not have to score the basketball to make an impact in the game. He did, however, have a couple of finishes in traffic that came at clutch parts of the game where he went up with the defense draped all over him and still finished. Scoring the ball was what Pluto needed at ties, but his impact was felt in other ways. Gish is a leader on the floor that knows where his teammates are going to be, fills open gaps in the defense, and also crashes the boards. He did not allow TBB to go on many runs and make high IQ plays.
Jeremiah Manning – United Basketball
United made it a point to get up and down. They play a fast brand of ball and force the opposing teams to speed it up with traps and presses. That opens up the floor on defense for athletic guards to make plays happen, and that is where Manning thrives. Manning showcased a tight handle and ability to break defenders down off of the dribble. Manning also stepped out beyond the arc and hit 3-pointers as well as a deadly shooter. Manning looked great offensively and comfortable with the ball in his hands, and the opposing team had no answers for him.
Devon Junghans Devon Junghans 5'9" | PG Salina South | 2021 State KS – SSA Elite Black
Junghans was one of the best passers on the day, and his team fed off of him. SSA Elite had multiple players finish in double figures in the game because their combo-guard Devon Jungans got everyone involved. Junghans finished with 16 points in the game, both shooting and finding holes in the defense for easy finishes, but the best part of his game is his vision. He had seven assists as he found teammates in scoring positions, made outlet passes, and put on a show in the first game on the day.
Darian Webb — Victory Ministry
Victory Ministry did not win the game but had a couple of players stand out in the game. Their player that stood out most was their 2022 player Darian Webb who is playing up a year. He stopped the bleeding a few times for Victory Ministry with tough finishes and did not give up in the game. He played with poise and remained aggressive throughout the game. He hit a couple of 3-pointers, and scored in transition while showcasing his natural scoring ability.
