Shawn Jones Jr Shawn Jones Jr 6'6" | SF Shadow Creek | 2022 State TX 6’6” SF | 2022 | Shadow Creek HS [Pearland, TX] – Drive Nation Houston
Shawn played well the entire weekend. Continues to improve his game from the perimeter and is a force when attacking the rim. He has a really good motor and showed why he is a top prospect in the state for his class.
Chris Morris 6’2” G | 2021 | Manvel HS [Manvel, TX] – Houston Raptors
Chris is a defensive specialist. He can guard the 1-3 potions on the floor. He turns defense into offense. His offensive game continues to grow as well and is looking more comfortable with the ball in his hands. He is a late bloomer so coaches don’t be late to the party.
Trey Miller 6’2” PG | 2022 | Concordia Lutheran [Tomball, TX] – Drive Nation Houston
Trey was Co-MVP of the Grind bracket as he had a big performance in the title game. He played with poise while running the show. He is another prospect that is a dawg on the defensive side of the ball as well. He also is a good facilitator that most over look in his game.
A.J. Ferguson 6’5” SG | 2021 | Cypress Park HS [Cypress, TX] – Houston Raptors
AJ continues to push the meter as far as to what his ceiling could be. Long and athletic and gives you flashes of I can take over the game scoring but then hits his opponent with his ability to get his teammates going as well. Active defender on the perimeter and a great rebounder as well for his position.
Reyce Allen 6’5” F | 2021 | Summer Creek HS [Humble, TX] – Drive Nation Houston
Reyce was the other Co-MVP recipient of the Grind Bracket. Although he stands at 6’5″ and is a Power Forward he is a tough hard-nosed defender on the ball and in the post. Has a quick second jump and is super active on the glass on both sides of the ball. He also caught a couple of bodies this weekend. He utilized his sweet spots on the court and showed his quickness to take bigger slower opponents to the rim.
