104 players from Arizona, California, New Mexico and Michigan battled it out. 12 teams with 8-9 players each.
Each team played 4 games with a possible All-Star game. The All-Star games lived up to the hype with many coaches walking away impressed with what they saw and 6 basketball offers were given out so far.
We will go back and look at each teams players.
Here is Team Colorado:
Top-20 game
Brandon Jackson Brandon Jackson 6'0" | CG North Canyon | 2021 State AZ (Heritage Maricopa)
-A talented guard who is nearly impossible to keep in front of you as he changes directions so quickly. The lefty has a real burst into the lane and he can pull-up from mid-range. He has incredible energy and is in tip-top shape as he keeps going at you until the game ends with his speed and his less then 5% body fat. He is a capable perimeter shooter but can improve moving forward. He makes plays for others, is a tough on-ball defender and once he gets downhill he is hard to stop with an impressive layup package.
Top-40 game
Chase Mayo Harmon Chase Mayo Harmon 6'2" | CG Phhoenix Prep | 2022 State AZ (Deer Valley) (Pictured)
-One of the top breakout players at the camp. I have never even heard of him and he came out of the gate like gangbusters. He immediately showed off his skill and athleticism. He can drive the lane and play above the rim, pull-up from mid-range and hit the 3. He is very active on the glass for a wing and collects steals in bunches. He can euro his way to the cup and brings a lot to the table. He was my Top-40 MVP and may have been snubbed for the Top-20 game.
Khabri Davis Khabri Davis 6'5" | SF Glenview College Prep | 2021 State AZ (Glenview College Prep)
-The top rebounder at the event has a nose for the ball. He has great length, a huge motor and is a fluid athlete. He is currently closer to a 4-man but with his athleticism and ball handling, he can slowly move over to the 3 during college. He can defend the 1-5 in HS and is that true glue type of player. Most of his points come from the glass and inside. But he can step out and shoot it.
Eric Ramirez Eric Ramirez 6'7" | PF Cibola | 2021 State AZ (Cibola)
-A highly skilled forward can shoot it from the 3pt line with some success and has advanced post footwork. He made a nasty double move in the post that created space for him to score it inside. He plays above the rim and has good hands with a soft touch around the hoop. He can keep improving his motor but the long forward is just scratching the surface to how good he will be.
Tre Bell Tre Bell 5'9" | PG Heritage Maricopa | 2021 State AZ (Heritage Maricopa)
-My top mid-range shooter of the camp has good open court speed and is turning into a play-maker. He can also shoot the deep 3 but his mid-range J is becoming a true weapon for the next level. He is quick on the ball defensively.
Others
Cameron Stokes Cameron Stokes 6'5" | PF Taylor Made Prep | 2023 State AZ (Pinnacle)
-An active forward who is just starting to figure it all out. He is super long and he is an aggressive rebounder and shot blocker. He is a capable 3pt shooter, albeit with an unorthodox shot, but he is effective. He is a fluid athlete that plays above the rim on the break and is a menace defensively. He should be an immediate impact player for the Pioneers with the loss of two good front court players (Baker and Ramos).
Derick Bush Derick Bush 6'1" | SG Carl Hayden | 2022 MS (Carl Hayden)
-An athletic guard can shoot it from deep plus get into the lane and score it. He is a fast player in the open court and can play the passing lanes on defense. He played hard throughout the camp and he should breakout for the Bruins in the HS season.
