Paxton Davidson Paxton Davidson 6'3" | PG Green Hill | 2022 State TN
Paxton is a unsung guard from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. With the opening of the new school, Green Hill High, PD transferred from Mt. Juliet to GHHS. Green Hill will be coached by former Mt. Juliet Head Coach Troy Allen and Paxton is expected to mature into a large role his junior season.
“He is a knock-down shooter, and his ball handling has gotten so much better over this summer and past season,” said Lipscomb University freshman Will Pruitt Will Pruitt 6'1" | PG Mt. Juliet | 2020 State TN . “He is a very fundamentally-skilled player with a bright future.” Will is a close friend of Paxton and they developed their skills together when Will was still a Mt. Juliet basketball player (2017-2020).
Current teammate Riggs Abner Riggs Abner 6'6" | SG Green Hill | 2021 State TN agrees with PrepHoopsTN that Paxton is ready to take off. “Last year our guard spots…there wasn’t much room for him to play,” said Abner. “Paxton and Moe [Ruttlen] should both average around 10 with the way we push the ball and run offense.”
Tristan Davis
Tristan is having a nice season for First Class Game AAU, supporting the scoring stars. Stewarts Creek will look to Davis to provide more than his 3.7 points per game in 2020-2021. Expect him to be a player on the rise in 7AAA.
Dontae Stringer Dontae Stringer 6'9" | PF Blackman | 2022 TN
Speaking of 7AAA, Blackman will reload with a former basketball prodigy Dontae Stringer Dontae Stringer 6'9" | PF Blackman | 2022 TN . Stringer is the younger brother of DeMontay Dixon. Earlier in his career Stringer left Summit High School for a prep school and that didn’t work out at all. He made his way back to middle Tennessee and spent this summer playing for the Tennessee Panthers . Solid shooting touch. Needs more defensive commitment as with his size and athleticism, Stringer should be a 3.5 bpg player for Blackman High the next two years.
Kamauri Young
Dual-sport athlete, Kamauri Young will thrive under Loretto Head Coach Greg Tipps this upcoming winter. Young is another scoring-inclined guard somewhat similar in style to his older cousin Amauri Young (Bryan College freshman).
