Colby Fugate Colby Fugate 6'3" | SF Paintsville | 2022 State KY , Paintsville – A big time scorer, Fugate is a talented wing who is likely the best pure scorer in the mountains now. Colby is a pretty solid athlete who can throw down dunks on any defender bold enough to get in his way. He’s got D1 potential and is also a baseball star.
Braxton Tharp, Paintsville – One of the top Seniors in the region, Tharp has been a big piece for the Tigers for a couple of seasons now and could see a boost to his stats with Nick Keeton Nick Keeton 6'3" | C Paintsville | 2020 State KY lost to graduation. Braxton is one of the most valuable players in the 15th.
Jordan Frazier, Betsy Layne – As a Junior, Jordan posted nearly 20 points per game and is likely to improve that production as a Senior. He’s one of the top players in Kentucky at getting to the free throw line as he averaged 6 makes per game.
Rylee Samons Rylee Samons 6'7" | SF Pikeville | 2023 State KY , Pikeville – One of the 2022s with a D1 scholarship offer already, Rylee is a big wing at 6’6 and has good range on his jump shot. He had an up and down Sophomore season but put up 17 points per game and has a chance to be the best player in the region as a Junior.
Laithan Hall Laithan Hall 6'0" | PG Pikeville | 2022 State KY , Pikeville – Hall missed almost half his Junior season due to injury but is among the top point guards in the mountains. He’s a shifty lead guard who can get past defenders and finish around the rim.
Trey James, Martin County – Already a mountain legend, Trey is the state record holder for career blocks as well as blocks in a single season. James makes his money around the rim but has added some stretch to his game in recent years and can face up. He’ll be headed to Iona for college.
Brady Dingess Brady Dingess 5'11" | PG Martin County | 2022 State KY , Martin County – A solid point guard who led the Cardinals in scoring as a Sophomore, Dingess can run a team and facilitate for others or get a bucket going to the rim.
Kaden Robinson, Shelby Valley – Losing Cody Potter Cody Potter 6'5" | SF Shelby Valley | 2020 State KY leaves a massive hole on the Wildcat roster and Robinson will get first crack at taking over as the go to scorer for Shelby Valley. A true inside-out scoring threat, Kaden should be expected to be a top Senior in the region.
Dominick Francis, Phelps – With Trey Francis graduating, the majority of the shots for Phelps should come off the hand of Dominick. As a Junior, he averaged 14 points per game and could be a 20 point per game or more scorer as a Senior, especially if he improves his shooting percentages.
