#1 – Bryon Armstrong Bryon Armstrong 6'3" | SG Antonian College Prep | 2021 State TX (6-3) – Antonian Prep
A strong and physical wing prospect, Armstrong can help a team in a multitude of ways on offense and defense. During his junior season at Antonian College Preparatory, he averaged 15.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Armstrong uses his brute strength to bully opponents when attacking the basket. He knows how to finish at the rim at a high level and shows impressive bounce on his dunks. Can create his own shot off the dribble, with a nice pull-up mid-range jumper and deep-range shot. He crashes the boards hard and is tough to box out. Dual-sport athlete. Earned All-District 6A-Region 3 First Team & TAPPS 6A All-State First Team
#2 – Davion Wilson (6-5) – Judson
A dual-sport star and big-time athlete, Wilson has the versatility to play either forward position on the hardwood. Wilson averaged 12.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks for Judson last season. The first thing that jumps off the screen with Wilson is his ability to make a difference on the boards and on defense. Has great bounce and anticipation on rebounds and defending the rim. Strong hands when pulling down boards. On offense, Wilson shines on dunks and finishes around the basket. He also does a good job in his decision making in the pick-and-roll game. Earned All-District 26-6A First Team & TABC 6A Region 4 All-Region Team
#3 – Luke Whidbee (6-5) – Boerne
A point-forward who can make plays happen with the ball in his hands, Whidbee is one of the top offensive playmakers in the San Antonio area. Whidbee averaged 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game for Boerne during his junior season. Can play either wing position, or can be the floor general running the pick-and-roll. Makes great decisions in the pick-and-roll game and shows great vision in his passes. Has a quick first step past defenders, and is a smooth finisher at the rim. Whidbee is also a good three-point shooter who can do it all from beyond-the-arc. Earned All-District 28-4A First Team & Offensive MVP / TABC 4A Region 4 All-Region Team
#4 – Jackson Reid (6-4) – New Braunfels
A technically sound wing prospect with a great frame, Reid has the skills to be a really good three-level scorer. Reid averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists for New Braunfels during his junior year that was cut short due to injury. Has a picturesque shot from both beyond-the-arc and in the mid-range, with a high release point. Great catch-and-shoot player, but also has the ability to pull-up when he gets to his spots. Plays strong and fast, with a high basketball IQ. Reid will be a player to keep a close eye on during his senior season for the Unicorns.
#5 – Jordon Barajas (6-5) – McCollum
Barajas is a beast on the court and his highlight tapes feature a wide variety of things that he does at a high level to help his team. From dunks on a fast break to step-back threes, Barajas is a versatile scoring weapon. He does a great job of using his big frame to body up opponents to get to the basket. Is a strong finisher at the rim and deploys a sweet spin move to create space when finishing. Barajas also shows good shooting range from both the mid-range and beyond-the-arc. Is able to hit deep-range shots with a hand in his face. On defense, he plays with great anticipation while blocking shots and intercepting passes to create fast-break opportunities. Earned All-District 28-6A First Team
#6 – Stacey Adams (6-4) – Cornerstone Christian
Adams has good size for either wing position and is a very good two-way player. His defense jumps out on tape as he does a great job of using his length and anticipation to be a disruptive force on the court. Runs the floor well in the transition and can push the pace with the ball in his hands. Adams is a tough rebounder who knows how to box-out and use his body as leverage. A slasher on offense who can finish around the rim. Adams also has the ability to beat his defender and penetrate the lane. Has a high ceiling as a wing prospect.
#7 – Al Emerallhu (6-6) – Clark
Emerallhu is a technician on the court who has the versatility to play either small or power forward. Does a great job of using his body positioning in the paint and has several post moves to go to. He finishes strong through contact and can finish with either hand. Emerallhu has extended range on his shot and is lethal from the corners. A physical rebounder who battles for boards. Plays with a high IQ and is a smart passer from the elbow and wings. Emerallhu is an all-out hustle player who knows when to make the right plays. Earned All-District 28-6A First Team
#8 – Ben Phillip (6-4) – Boerne
Phillip is a true scoring threat from beyond-the-arc with legit NBA range. He averaged 11.7 points and 4.1 rebounds during his junior year for Boerne. Can play either wing position. Is great as a catch-and-shoot scorer from deep, but he can also create his own shot. Does a good job of moving without the ball on offense, and is smooth coming around screens. Shoots with good rhythm and can hit shots with defenders in his face. From the wing spots, Phillip has terrific vision dishing dimes to slashing or open teammates in the post. Earned All-District 28-4A First Team
#9 – Stephen Mahler (6-5) – Jay
Mahler has made a name for himself with his impressive play with the HD Toros during the grassroots circuits this summer. He’s an athletic wing with a really good shot from beyond-the-arc. Runs the floor well and does a great job of finishing above the rim. Mahler is a true scoring threat who also provides good rebounding ability, including on the offensive boards. During his junior year at San Antonio Jay, he averaged 9.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Earned All-District 28-6A Second Team
#10 – Hunter Darling (6-5) – Boerne Champion
A big-time three-point shooter who does a great job in the catch-and-shoot game, Darling stretches defenses out with his shooting range. During his junior year at Boerne Champion, Darling averaged 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest. When he isn’t draining threes he is banging in the paint and finishing with authority. Is a smooth finisher on the block with a nice floater. Plays tough defense and is physical on the boards. Earned All-District 26-5A First Team
