I’m always excited to see this class compete, the incoming freshman because they don’t care about where I’m ranked as the older prospects and they just want to hoop to showcase their skill set. Here are a few more prospects that stood out to me.
Neffi Taiwo 6’7” F | Alief Taylor
This prospect is long and athletic. He can put the ball on the floor as well. Will be interesting to watch this prospect blossom throughout the years. Has a lot of potential and could blossom into a solid combo forward
Divine Ugochukwu 6’1” G | Fort Bend Clements
He has some sneaky athleticism as he threw down a couple of dunks with ease and quick hands defensively and is quick laterally. He was picking pockets like left and right with his quick hands. Has a nice quick twitch when attacking and a solid dribble package to create for himself.
Jared Harris 5’10” G | Silsbee
He has some sauce to his game. Plays with a lot of swag and rightfully so as he was a tough assignment for opponents. Very solid ball-handler and plays defense as well. He can shoot the ball as well. Talks on defense as well and to his teammates during timeouts a true leader on the court.
Will Cianfrini 6’2” SG | Galveston Ball
Had a lot of tough acrobatic lays and has an active hands-on defense as well. He pushes the pace and is good when changing pace in the half court set as well. He was tough to keep from getting to the basket.
Olabode Karunwi 5’10” G
Another prospect that I wasn’t able to get his High School but I will. He is a shooter don’t leave this kid open on the court ever. He was even knocking down some contested shots. He had some nice step back trey balls as well. He was scoring in bunches.
Adesoye Onalye 6’3” G | Katy Paetow
He has a great feel for the game. He was facilitating the ball getting his teammates involved. He could be used as a solid combo guard for his High School squad. He was able to score on the perimeter catch and shoot and take his opponent off the dribble as well.
