New Scholarship Offers:
Sam Vinson Sam Vinson 6'3" | CG Highlands | 2021 State KY now unofficially leads the 2021 class in number of offers received. Vinson recently added offers from George Washington, Toledo and Miami (OH) to bring his total to 5 offers as Bellarmine and NKU had already offered the high scoring guard from Northern Kentucky.
Our current #1 ranked player in 2023 Kaleb Glenn Kaleb Glenn 6'7" | SF La Lumiere | 2023 #64 Nation IN was offered by Georgia Southern last week. That’s Glenn’s first offer.
Illinois and Florida State have both offered 2023 Center Cyr Malonga Cyr Malonga 6'10" | C Evangel Christian | 2023 State KY of Evangel Christian. Malonga has yet to play a KHSAA game but has had a big AAU season for the Louisville Defenders.
High School Transfer News:
Senior Xander Terry Xander Terry 5'11" | SG Jackson County | 2021 State KY has made the short move from Jackson City to Jackson County. Terry averaged 23 points and 6 rebounds per game as a Junior.
Bardstown landed 2 transfers as Yared Raley (from Bullitt East) and Bryce Riley Bryce Riley 6'5" | SF Bardstown | 2022 State KY (from Nelson County) both enrolled recently. There are rumors that there could be 2 more transfers at Bardstown but nothing confirmed.
One of the state’s top 2022 prospects Brandon Rayzer-Moore has made the move across the bridge from Jeffersontown to Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Corbin has lost 2 players to nearby Lynn Camp as Gavin Allen Gavin Allen 6'10" | C Lynn Camp | 2022 State KY and Micah Engle Micah Engle 6'5" | SF Lynn Camp | 2023 State KY both transferred from Corbin.
2022 forward Mitchell Rylee Mitchell Rylee 6'8" | C Covington Catholic | 2022 State KY has transferred from Beechwood to Covington Catholic and will hope to get eligible to play right away. The big man is a double double threat an would make the Colonel front court very deep.
Covington Catholic also landed a transfer from Ohio as Darrius Washington Darrius Washington 6'6" | PF Fern Creek | 2021 State KY will play in Kentucky this season. Schmidt is a 6’6 power forward with an offer from New Orleans who was ranked 35th in Ohio’s 2021 class.
