Time to revisit the Class of 2022 rankings and adjust to account for the player’s growth or stagnation. Rankings are subjective and PrepHoops.com/Tennessee (@CourtneyHoops90 + @AndrewForce8) ranks purely upon potential and where the player will be at their basketball peak. Production factors in only when helping prove the potential is greater or lesser. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at several Class of 2022 prospects and learn a little about their reputation.
Great foot speed. P.J. plays with a wonderful attacking spirit. When the ball is not in his hands, his body language conveys, ‘I am ready.’ Not demanding, Hillman stands with a coiled body ready to spring into action. Kingsbury is a loaded team in the sophomore class, partially because of Hillman.

is a fantastically developed, well-rounded basketball player for his age. Offensively, there are not many avenues of attack unavailable to him. He can shoot off the pass or dribble. Will is an outrageously bouncy individual, capable of hammering it home on top of dudes. In the open floor, Biven strides with other guards just fine. While most juniors are just beginning to consider the basketball future seriously, Will is definitely invested in his game long-term. He doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses or physical limitations and seems to be able to jump well. Fringe D1 prospect.
Biven is a believer in lifting weights. “I started a little in the 7th grade at home but not with weights,” said Biven. “I did that in the 9th grade and I tried to do different ways when he had to stay at home (Co-Vid), especially with my legs.” He is more physically advanced than numerous peers because he committed to the off-court aspect of basketball training. Why did he get into weights at an early age? “I did it with my legs for jumping. The upper body I did to stay in shape and try to play varsity earlier.”
Jackson is a worker bee. “Good finisher in pick-and-roll situations, rebounds well,” shared teammate Isaiah DavisIsaiahDavis

when asked. Long gets big minutes with PSB-Dozier, a really strong 16u team from middle Tennessee. Long’s game looks to be that of a small college wing. His lateral mobility needs to improve, but the grit and passion are redeeming intangibles. Jackson is probably going to see 50’s as his peak ranking, assuming he will continue to gain football weight and in the process perhaps inhibit his ability to defend the wing.
Heady, poised lead guard. Green, like many star sophomores, played alongside more respected and proven players during his sophomore season. Webb leaned on Uriah PowersUriahPowers

He didn’t over-penetrate and when he did get into the lane, Green made smart choices. His poise at such a young age speaks to a mature demeanor.
Solid catch-and-shoot guy. Needs more nimble feet and better handles to truly open up his game. Adam possesses the ideal height for his position (6’5″). The things he can’t do just yet are things he can improve over time. You can’t teach height. Miller’s ceiling is probably in the 25ish range and his floor is likely 60ish. College basketball is absolutely in his future.
