6-5 SG Brayden Baker – Hollywood Stars – Richmond Hill
Skilled guard that can both shoot from distance and create his own shot. Brayden Baker turned heads with his blend of offensive skills. He attacked both from the perimeter and on drives. Baker handled the ball with confidence and routinely got to his spots. He could be a stock riser in the 2022 class.
6-1 PG Cristian Willis Cristian Willis 5'11" | PG Lithia Springs | 2022 State GA – Atlanta Nets – Lithia Springs
Cristian Willis Cristian Willis 5'11" | PG Lithia Springs | 2022 State GA profiles as a strong playmaker that does a good job of breaking down the defense and getting a piece of the paint. He’s got a strong enough body to finish at the rim after taking bumps. Willis’ court vision and decision making will be on full display the next two seasons.
6-3 CG Jalen Forrest Jalen Forrest 6'3" | PG Greenforest Christian Academy | 2022 State GA – Team Forrest – Greenforest
Forrest regularly stuffs stat sheets and Saturday was no different. He compiled 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Forrest is a physically imposing guard that can bully his way to the basket. He’s got a nice touch and can hurt teams from beyond the arc. Forrest absorbs contact and finds open shooters once he gets downhill. He showed flashes of his game-changing talent last year and now that an important 2020 class has graduated, expect Forrest to see an even bigger role in the Greenforest offense.
6-3 PF Ian McConnell – RH Kings Williams – Commerce
A strong wide-bodied post, McConnell affects games with his strength in the paint. While he can score up close with classic post moves, he has a soft touch out to 15-feet and can score on turnarounds off the block. He’s an active rebounder and has been a consistent producer during his time at Commerce.
6-2 SG Avi Haritsa – RH Kings Riley – Chattahoochee
Avi Haritsa is a subtly smooth off-guard capable of knocking down open threes and finishing with some craft. Haritsa had some hard takes baseline against Team Forrest’s massive size and was able to convert tough reverse layups, using the rim as a shield. When he was able to get his feet set, Haritsa sank three deep balls en route to 15 points. He should fight for rotational minutes at Chattahoochee.
6-4 W Autrey Barnes – HYPE – Grady
Aggressive and athletic, Autrey Barnes provides major energy. He crashes the offensive glass and can earn second chance opportunities with his length. Barnes is a tough slasher and scores a majority of his points in the paint. Defensively he earns deflections and can help protect the rim. Barnes has the tools to have a breakout season in the near future.
