That potential was unknown at first but as the grassroots season has concluded it is without a doubt that Collin is not only a Division prospect he is a HM prospect. This past season in his sophomore campaign Collin put up some note-worthy numbers. He averaged 18 points a game all while only hitting 26 three-pointers a game. Last season he scored 20 or more points in 9 games and a career high 36 against East High School. Collin is on pace to reach the 1,000 point club this next season as a junior. His 3.4 assist per game was a good start to high high school career and is a number that will surely go up. Collin can also rebound the basketball and get that ball moving up the floor in a hurry.

Q: What did you learn the most from this past high school season?
A: I think the biggest thing that I learned from this past season was how to take care of the basketball. I think that before I was a little careless with the ball, but know I see how crucial every possession can be. I have learned how to clean that up by ding some of the little things.
Q: Where do you feel you have grown the most in your games this past AAU Season?
A: I think I have grown a lot with the ball in my hands. Pushing the ball has been one of them because the pace is so fast that I have to make quicker decision. Open spaces to pass, shoot or attack close a lot quicker, so I can’t hesitate.
Q: Tell us about your experience getting your 1st and 2nd offers?
A: The experience was surreal because it’s every basketball players dream to have an opportunity to play at that level. The recruitment part as a whole has been really cool and an exciting experience. Talking to these different coaches and listening and learning about their basketball philosophies is really awesome. Then to top it off by getting my first offer from Dixie State was amazing, especially getting to know coach May for the past couple of months was great because he thinks I could be a really good fit there. Then, a few nights ago having a meeting with the staff at the University of Utah was absolutely insane, because I’ve grown up a Ute fan my entire life. I’ve gone to so many of their games and to get an offer from them was absolutely mind blowing.
Q: Who are some of the players you patten your game after?
A: I feel like I play a lot like Shai-Gilgeous-Alexander from the Oklahoma City Thunder. I watch him a lot and his highlights. I really pay attention to his reads when he gets doubled, he’s a player I would like to mold my game around.
Q:Where did you get your passion for basketball?
A: It started off with y dad. He has had me playing basketball since I was young. He has always pushed me to be the best that i can be in basketball and he is super supportive.
Q: What is your personal goal for next season and what is your team goal for next season?
A: My personal goal is to win Gatorade Player of the Year and my team goal is to obviously win state.
