This tournament was a fantastic showcase of all of the talent in the area, many of which will receive a major uptick in recruiting! Be on the lookout for the rest of my coverage from this event!
Cayden Bradford 2021 6’2 Colorado Mayhem Turner 17U – Arvada West High School
Cayden is active on boards for an undersized wing. He is an intelligent player who plays the passing lanes well to get to steals. He is great at turning these steals into easy offense on the fast break. He is great at running the floor and always seems to make the right decision in the full court. He runs his lanes well and finishes well through contact around the rim.
Caden Wightman 2021 6’4 Colorado United Basketball Club William Smith High School
Caden is an athletic wing who is great at getting to the rim. His ability to finish around traffic in the paint was impressive, and he even displayed good shooting touch. I would like to see better ball-handling ability and be able to beat people off the dribble. His long frame allows him to affect the game in a multitude of ways and I am excited to see what kind of player he grows to be during his senior campaign.
Kai Davis 2021 6’3 Colorado Mayhem Bahlmann 17U- Heritage High School
Kai is a long wing who moves well with basketball. He always seems to be in the right position in the offense and fills holes in their offensive sets well. He is great at spacing the floor and is able to put pressure on the defense in a multitude of ways. He is good at drawing contact and getting into the paint.
Jayden Washington 2022 6’5 Colorado Mayhem- Turner 17U- Eaglecrest High School
Jayden is an active forward who is great at clearing the glass and fights hard for positioning down low. His length and ability to move his feet allow him to be an effective trapper in full and half-court defensive sets. He even displayed some handle and showed that he knows how to make the right read for his teammates on offense.
