Hosted by recruiting legend Dinos Trigonis, the 48 team showcase featured some of the top AAU programs on the West Coast. The event provided the perfect platform to highlight several under the radar prospects. In this article PH takes a look at some of the top sleepers from the event.
Keba Keita Keba Keita 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #157 Nation UT 6’8 PF Empire 2022 (#3PHU 2022) – Big strong physical inside presence that takes pride in rebounding and protecting the rim. I’m shocked that he has no offers, Keita is a quality 4 man with the athleticism to impact the college game at a mid to high major level.
Bradley Swillie 6’5 SF Seattle Rotary Blue 2022 (#12PHW 2022) – Swillie is a good size wing that can really shoot the ball, evident by his 5 3’s against Supreme Court. He has recently begin receiving interest from several universities, including Portland St, Pepperdine and Montana.
Alex Horiuk 6’11 C College Prep 2021 (featured image) – The 7 footer from Ukraine brings more than just size to the table. He moves well for a big guy, Horiuk is a fluid runner that changes ends with no problems. Has decent hands, and is more than capable of turning over his left shoulder and scoring. He currently has no offers and has only received interest from D2 Holy Names.
Daniel Ameyaw 6’7 PF Supreme Court 2022 – Ameyaw understands what he is and plays to his strength. A physical specimen with the ability to impact the game with his rebounding and low post defense. His biggest weakness right now may be that he’s too nice. When he plays with energy and aggression and a high motor he becomes a problem.
Brennan Rigsby Brennan Rigsby 6'2" | CG Wasatch Academy | 2021 State UT 6’2 PG Salt Lake Rebels Gray 2021 (#12PHU 2021) – Heard a lot about Rigsby before I got to Utah. What I saw is a good athlete with the ability to make shots from 3. He has started to receive interest from Colorado, Utah and Utah St.
Jaden Hansen Jaden Hansen 6'1" | PG Rocky Mountain | 2021 State ID 6’0 PG Idaho Premiere 2021 (#2PHI 2021) – Just a tough gritty PG. Deserves to play college basketball somewhere, because of his willingness to do anything to help his team win. IP was dominant all weekend, winning multiple games by more than 30. Hansen was a good reason why.
Brody Rowbury Brody Rowbury 6'11" | C Meridian | 2021 State ID 6’11 C So Cal Buzz 2021 (#5PHI 2021) – Rowbury is absolutely massive. He can only go hard for about 4 minutes, but his size and skill set ensure that his time on the floor will be productive. The Idaho product currently has no offers.
Andrew Pipersburgh 6’7 PF So Cal Buzz 2021 – Pipersburgh played with great energy and effort. The good size wing is a versatile defender that was able to help his team with his defense and rebounding. No offers, however he has recently received some D2 interest.
