This past weekend was filled with great talent at the Oklahoma State Tournament in Oklahoma City. These were the top scorers that I was able to see as the weekend went on. I primarily focused on the 17u division but also got to catch a few 16u games as well.

Gendron was able to score at all three levels for the Hawks. He plays at a good pace that allows him to be able to take what the defense gives him and never get sped up. If the defense was up then he would drive to the basket, and if the defense was back then he would pull it from three. He played with a good sense of awareness when getting in the paint and got fouled often as he went up to score. Gendron has a scorers mentality and uses his jumping ability to rise above the defense when shooting the ball.
