Isaiah Sanders 2021 (Drive Nation OK) Point Guard
Sanders was doing it all Sunday morning. He dropped 18 points and led his team to a win. Throughout the whole game, he played with great pace and awareness and took what the defense gave him. His quick speed allowed him to get past defenders and finish at the rim or pull up from mid-range. Sanders has a great feel for the game and was making it look easy on the floor which helped his team win the tournament.
Landry Harris Landry Harris 5'11" | PG Edmond North | 2021 State OK 2021 (Oklahoma Power) Point Guard
Oklahoma Power has a true floor general on their squad. Harris plays with a chip on his shoulder that allows him to run the show. He was playing very aggressive on both ends of the floor throughout the weekend. Constantly knocking in shots from deep and putting the ball on the floor to create for himself or find open teammates. Harris was getting to the rack easy in the championship game and was displaying great finishing skills.
Ian Sluice Ian Sluice 6'3" | CG Metro Christian Academy | 2021 State OK 2021 (PWP) Wing
Sluice was all over the floor Sunday. The 6’3 wing was hitting shots from beyond the arc-like it was nothing. Creating separation is the key for Sluice, if he has any room at all the shot is going up. He was able to get to the rack a few times and even hit some turn around jumpers as well. Not only can this kid score, but he hustles the whole game. Sluice is verbally committed to Concordia University, St. Paul.
Taezon Taft 2021 (Drive Nation OK) Point Guard
Taft is a great on-ball defender that brings a ton of energy to his team. Along with defense, the Sapulpa guard can flat out score the ball. Leading his team in points in the championship game, he was able to shoot the three, get to the rack to finish, or stop and shoot a floater right over the defense. Taft ended with 12 points in the championship and caught my eye to end the day.
