We will look at 5 of the Michigan players from UTS Elite and REACH that brought a #FridayFire for their grassroots squad.
Carter Alexander Carter Alexander 6'1" | PG Chelsea | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Chelsea, REACH 15u)
Alexander is doing a great job of getting himself seen this summer and playing well when those opportunities arise. He had 16 points in a 62-24 win over WI Dynasty. Alexander showed steady handles and a consistent touch.
Keyon Menifield (2021, PG, Flint Beecher, UTS Elite Gold)
Let’s face the facts; Menifield is one of the nastiest ball handlers in the state of Michigan. He’s tremendous in transition and is excellent sharing the backcourt with fellow stars like Kentrell Pullian Kentrell Pullian 6'0" | CG Benton Harbor | 2021 State MI . Mennifield had 13 points in a message sending victory.
Kentrell Pullian Kentrell Pullian 6'0" | CG Benton Harbor | 2021 State MI (2021, CG, Benton Harbor, UTS Elite Gold)
Pullian is another Grade A ball handler for UTS Elite. He is a playmaker through and through and can control a game with the ball in his hands. Pullian scored 13 points in his team’s impressive opening win.
Peyton Rummler (2023, PF, Stoney Creek, REACH 15u)
Rummler looked really good on Friday. He made us all aware that he’s a prospect to watch in the coming years. The true power forward had 12 points and 7 rebounds in a 62-24 victory over WI Dynasty.
Will Smythe Will Smythe 6'4" | SG Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2021 State MI (2021, SG, Warren De La Salle, REACH 17u)
Smythe was lights out on Friday with REACH. He’s proven that we need to rank him higher, that’s for sure. Smythe showed a smooth jumper that he hit consistently. He led his team with 14 points in a dominating 60-31 win.
