Jameer Barker Jameer Barker 6'2" | SG Racine St. Catherine's | 2021 State WI – 2021 – G – Wisconsin Playmakers South
One of the bigger stock risers this summer, Barker had a terrific game on both ends of the floor on Saturday. We know Barker can score. The lefty is a smooth shot maker who will take advantage of a defender with his hand down. However, it was Barker’s defense that really turned the game. The Racine St. Catherine’s guard was a pest on that end, getting his hands in, knocking the ball away, and creating turnovers and loose balls.
Dustin Beauprey Dustin Beauprey 6'3" | PG Mt Top Christian | 2021 State WI – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Crusaders
Still feel like Beauprey is a legitimate Division 2 guard. He had 20 points in a loss to a very strong JH1 Elite squad on Saturday. A strong and skilled prospect who’s more athletic than he looks, Beauprey has a lot of tools offensively. He’s got blow-by ability on the ball, can shoot it from all over the floor, and generate easy scoring opportunities for his teammates. Beauprey came out of the gates strong and dominated the first half with 16 points. He set the tone early by taking the ball right to the rim and finishing through the chest of defenders.
Antwan Burns-Jones Antwan Burns-Jones 6'2" | SG Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – JH1 Elite
A natural slasher, Burns-Jones has a knack for getting to the rim and how to operate in traffic. He displayed excellent patience and body control during JH1’s blowout win on Saturday. Burns-Jones can feel when defenders are trying to set up and take charges and he maneuvers around them or pulls back. Length and touch allow him to finish over defenders as well. A top 50 prospects, Burns has an intriguing frame that should help him continue to elevate.
Jeremiah Burke Jeremiah Burke 6'5" | PF Saint Francis | 2021 State WI – 2021 – F – Shooting Stars
Burke has shown some good improvements since last summer. The Saint Francis product is a little bigger and longer and looks to be around 6-foot-6. Burke flashes a nice face-up game from mid-range where he can shoot over the top or rip and attack the bucket. Burke came up as an undersized forward and a junkyard dog that won on the glass. His offensive skillset appears to be much more refined and there was a noticeable increase in confidence from Burke on Saturday.
Hayden Doyle Hayden Doyle 6'0" | CG Brookfield East | 2021 State WI – 2021 – G – Wisconsin Playground Club
Thought Doyle had two really solid outings on Saturday. The Brookfield East guard played very well in a high-level matchup against the Minnesota Heat. With his team struggling in the second half, Doyle put the team on his back offensively and was able to drill some tough pull-up jumpers off the bounce. This isn’t out of character for Doyle, who seems to elevate his game in comfortable situations. Holding a couple of Division 2 offers, Doyle is an excellent on-ball defender that plays hard every minute on the floor.
Owen Hagar – 2023 – F – Wisconsin Blizzard
Hagar impressed with his tenacious rebounding ability. When his teammates shot, Hagar didn’t stand in watch. Instead he flew in and created plenty of second chance opportunities. Hagar didn’t always come down with the ball, but often tipped it to a teammate and allowed them to finish off the play. A 6-foot-4 forward with length and leaping ability, Hagar did a nice job of doing the dirty work in Saturday’s win over JH1 Elite.
Kamari Mcgee Kamari Mcgee 6'0" | PG Racine St. Catherine's | 2021 State WI – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
McGee was just big time as PGC held off Minnesota Select Sunday night. An extremely consistent performer this summer, McGee continues to make winning plays. Whether it’s coming up with steals, knocking down timely shots, getting into the paint and finding open teammates, or finishing 1-on-1 in the open floor — you just expect these type of special performances from McGee at this point. Emerging as a legitimate mid-major prospect, whichever program signs McGee is going to be in good hands.
Owen Meyer Owen Meyer 6'2" | PG Germantown | 2021 State WI – 2021 – G – JH1 Elite
Meyer came up with 18 points in a win over the Wisconsin Crusaders. Trailing by 16 at the half, Meyer gave his team a chance at a comeback by scoring 12 points in the opening period. The Germantown guard knows how to his work his way into the paint and does a great job of getting defenders off their feet. He’s not a guy that possesses above the rim athleticism, but sharp ball fakes and pump fakes get him clean looks in traffic.
Daniel Robinson Daniel Robinson 6'2" | CG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – Milwaukee Sharks
Robinson earned himself a spot in the next class of 2023 rankings during a blowout win over the Minnesota Magic. An athletic, high motor guard, Robinson had some dominant spurts while playing up in 16U. Like his older brother ( Marshawn Robinson Marshawn Robinson 6'3" | SG Waukesha South | 2022 State WI ), Robinson gets downhill with blow-by ability on the ball. He has terrific handles and works plenty of hesitation dribbles into his game to keep defenders guessing. Robinson lives at the rim, but also surveys the floor. He loves finding open shooters in the corner off drive and dish opportunities. A tenacious defender, Robinson was creating havoc throughout the morning, getting his hands in and creating loose ball opportunities.
Josh Terrian Josh Terrian 6'4" | SF Pewaukee | 2022 State WI – 2022 – SF – JH1 Elite
Going up against a very fast, long, and athletic team in D1 Minnesota, Terrian certainly didn’t shy away from the competition. The Pewaukee standout got things going early with a tough and-one finish in transition followed by a couple of 3’s. Terrian took the ball to the basket hard throughout the game and also did some nice things defensively. A 6-foot-3 small forward that causes mismatch problems with an inside-outside game, Terrian stretches the floor with 3-point shooting ability and can invert himself in the offense with an advanced post game.
