Jevon Porter Jevon Porter 6'11" | SF Tolton Catholic | 2022 State #110 Nation MO 6’9- Savage Squad Hoops 2022
Jevon Porter Jevon Porter 6'11" | SF Tolton Catholic | 2022 State #110 Nation MO is a player who can play at the wing or the power forward position having great height at 6’9. Jevon impressed with his ability to hit shots over defenders from mid range and three point land. He is also quite quick on his feet and can hang with wings and guards on the defensive end. Jevon with the good height and athleticism he is able to protect the rim very well; he also uses the athleticism to get up and finish above the rim, he even had some highlight reel type dunks over the weekend.
Mo Mbaye 6’9– SI Select 2021
Mo Mbaye was one of the best players in the whole tournament, he is unicorn who can do a bit of everything. Mo at 6’9 is very hard to guard, if you put a big man on him he can put the ball on the floor and put a wing on him he can post them up and score from high to low post. He also plays good defense and uses his long wing span to protect the rim. Mo is also a crazy athlete and gets up for some crazy dunks! He does not just score inside though, he can spread the floor and shoot from three point land. Mo Mbaye is already getting some offers, including Louisville and Rutgers, but I could see him being a player who blows up on the national scene soon.
Gradey Dick Gradey Dick 6'7" | SF Sunrise Christian (KS) | 2022 State #21 Nation KS 6’8- KC Drive5 Nation 2022
Gradey Dick Gradey Dick 6'7" | SF Sunrise Christian (KS) | 2022 State #21 Nation KS was another high major prospect who showed out at the MAYB Nationals. Gradey can do a bit of everything on the basketball court, being able to play any position shooting guard through power forward. He has a good ability to score inside and out, shooting from the outside and posting up smaller defenders. Gradey is a very good slasher who score above the rim, he also attacks the offensive class to get easy putbacks. Gradey is already on the national radar and for good reason, he has picked up some big offers including Kansas, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma, and many more!
Cherif Kanoute 6’6- SI Select 2021
Cherif Kanoute was one of the best athletes at the tournament, quite a player to watch! He is an elite slasher who finishes well above the rim, even if someone is in his way. Cherif also causes fast-breaks by predicting the opposing team to get steals and run the floor. He is not just bouncy, but he is quite quick, allowing him to zoom by players to finish at the rim. Cherif is a sleeper athlete for schools to look out for.
Deangelo Horn Deangelo Horn 6'5" | PF Rock Canyon | 2021 State CO 6’6- Billups Elite 2021
Deangelo Horn Deangelo Horn 6'5" | PF Rock Canyon | 2021 State CO was a big reason for Billups Elite sucess over the weekend. Deangelo is an elite athlete, who always seems to be in the right position for easy lay ups. He uses his athleticism to push the pace and run the floor, he even had some big tomahawk dunks on fastbreaks. Deangelo also gets good positioning to grab boards on both ends of the floor. He also has a good jumper, but played mostly as a slasher finishing at the rim. Deangelo I believe is one of the most underrated prospects in the region, and can not wait to see what he does in college whether thats football or basketball.
