Possessing great size and athleticism from the guard position, Ethan PickettEthanPickett6'3" | CGRichmond Hill | 2021StateGA is a downhill scorer that can explode to the rim. He’s got the quickness to blow past defenders and cause issues in the paint. That same foot speed helps him on defense as he can turn ball handlers and frustrate opponents. He had 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in a win over Team Forrest. Pickett has all the covetable natural abilities for college programs, he will just need to develop more confidence in his outside shot as he took just 10 threes his junior season, but made half of them.

Trailing 40-19 to the Nike Elite Stars, the leadership and resiliency of Shomik “Taco” Shahjahan helped Game Elite Orange weather the storm and rally for a dramatic 96-92 victory in overtime. Taco is a fierce competitor, especially on the defensive end. While he may not be as big or as athletic as his opponents, Shahjahan is smart player and one that never backs down from a challenge. He’s a physical defender that plays with a chip on his shoulder. He was like a gnat as he rarely gave opposing ball handlers any breathing room. Shomik even drew a charge, again showing his willingness to make winning plays and commitment to the defensive end. On offense, he set up his teammates and protected the ball, finishing with 6 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. He’s leaving Miller Grove for TSF his final season.

A tough-nosed scorer that has been consistent since Day 1, Zyair GreeneZyairGreene6'2" | CGMiller Grove | 2021StateGA profiles as one of the more reliable scorers in the 2021 class. He’s not afraid to slash into the lane and use his strength to absorb contact at the rim. His mid-range game is solid and his three-point shot is reliable (25-63; 40%).  At LakePoint, he scored in a variety of ways to rack up 22 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. He’s seen some of the best competition in and out of the state over his first three years at Miller Grove and has averaged over 16 points per game since his sophomore season.

DeKalb County’s assist leader (5.4) a year ago, Kawasiki RicksKawasikiRicks5'10" | PGColumbia | 2021StateGA is a playmaking undersized guard. He does a great job at getting two feet in the paint and scoring over shot blockers. In transition, he’s trustworthy to make the correct reads and get good looks for the offense.  He competes in all facets of the game and can chip in on the glass. He’s got a chance to show off more of his scoring abilities his senior year.

The best court vision in Georgia and maybe the southeast, Will KolkerWillKolker6'1" | PGPope | 2021StateGA is an elite passer. The southpaw routinely slices up defenses with his pinpoint precision. Watching Kolker is a bucket-list event for any high school basketball fan in Georgia. His strong play has started to gain the attention of D-II programs. His playmaking and shifty scoring will translate to the next level. He had 9 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists against Team Dickerson.

6-6 W Makai VassellMakaiVassell6'6" | SFLanier | 2021StateGA – GA Canes – Lanier

Vassell is a good-looking athlete with a versatile skill set. Vassell can play either on the wing or in the post depending on matchups. He brought great effort on the glass in the Canes’ gritty 40-38 win over Team Speights. Vassell has the agility to slash to the hoop from the perimeter but also the toughness to score around the basket. He had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist in the low scoring affair. He’s got the tools to have a breakout senior season.
