The names on this list come from Drive Nation and Texas Tarheels but Pro Skills, EAD, Team Juice, 3D Academy, BeastUp, and Southern Assault will see more playing time starting Saturday.
Rustan Griffin
Griffin’s still adjusting to his 6-4 and still growing frame and with a lights out jumper the ceiling on this young man is high. In each game he played in he knocked down two threes but never settling for the long ball when he has a chance to get to the rim. There’s a lot of talent here already, and playing alongside big brother Rylan Griffin and Cason Wallace Cason Wallace 6'4" | CG Richardson | 2022 State #6 Nation TX at Richardson next year will be worth the price of admission.
Jaxson Ford
There are good athletes, and then there’s Mr. Ford. At 6-7 he plays an explosive brand of basketball that overwhelms most in his age range. This isn’t a new thing for him either, he’s a documented against older plays as well. He competes for every board, protects the rim, and has a knack for making plays all over the court.
Micah Robinson
As one of the first kids off Drive Nation’s bench, the 6-5 forward was deployed to put pressure on the opposing team’s best player. Robinson has athleticism above his age group, especially on the break and a mature frame.
Landon Brown
The Texas Tarheels star really knows how to produce on the offensive end. When he’s operating as a scorer the deep range on his jumper fell to perfection while his passing found open teammates as he drew a second or third defender.
