He had ages 15U-17U playing 4 games each in the two days. many of the top AZ AAU programs were involved plus one mystery team with a lot of talent that played just for the weekend.
Here were the last group of the junior standouts:
Orlando Gonzales Orlando Gonzales 6'0" | PG Leading Edge Academy | 2022 State AZ Phhoenix Prep (AZ Select 16 UAA Rise) (Pictured)
-A scoring lead guard can pull-up off the dribble and hit 3’s off the catch. He can get into the lane and score with either hand and has a floater plus a nice runner. He has more of a scorers mentality but made good reads in every game played. He also made one of the best hustle plays of the tournament with a long rebound, where he sprinted to corral it versus two other opponents.
Jayden Warren Jayden Warren 6'4" | SG Phh Prep | 2022 State AZ Phhoenix Prep (AZ Select 16 UAA Rise)
-One of the top on-ball defenders takes pride with his defense. He has long arms and has an extremely strong upper body with a sturdy frame/wider shoulders. He is a sneaky good passer and a true team player. He can make the catch-3 but can improve. He is mostly a downhill scorer using his body and handle scoring inside through contact. He is one of the top rebounding guards in the class.
Jason Parent Jason Parent 6'4" | SF Prescott | 2022 State AZ Prescott (Firestorm 16 Gold)
-A skilled wing who has a decent handle in tight quarters with his left or right hand and is sneaky athletic. He has a clean stroke from the perimeter and can score it in the paint with some success. He needs to get stronger but his skill and length are impressive.
Garrison Sherman Garrison Sherman 6'7" | SF Scottsdale Christian Academy | 2022 State AZ Scottsdale Christian Academy (Arizona Dream 16)
-A quickly growing guard who can shoot it. He grew two inches since my last viewing of him and he has great length to get many deflections and he smartly takes charges. He is a shot maker from the perimeter and is best off the catch from the 3pt line plus can score it in the paint with his new size.
Mason Knollmiller Mason Knollmiller 6'2" | SG Highland | 2022 State AZ Highland (AZ Prime 16 Klaus)
-A shockingly athletic wing player had some wow moments over the tournament. He is a mostly an all downhill player but plays with a lot of energy throughout a game. He corrals a rebound at its highest point with his natural leaping ability.
2022 @MKnollmiller can fly 😳

Trey Hollis Trey Hollis 6'1" | PG Gilbert | 2022 State AZ Gilbert (AZ Prime 16 Klaus)
-A transfer by way of Chandler HS will help Gilbert after he sits his 9 games. He has a real burst into the lane and is a natural downhill player scoring it through contact. He is a good ball handler and had a good assist to turnover ratio in the games I viewed. He can improve his shooting consistency moving forward, but a nice pickup for the Tigers.
