Great 8 Showdown: 2021’s To Watch
Here are players in the 2022 bracket to keep an eye on:
Christian Boler (2022, PG, Advanced Tech, REACH Legends 2022 Adidas)
Boler shouldn’t be looked over as a top notch junior floor general. The tools are there – north-south speed, lateral quickness, and ball handling skills for starters.
Ethan Crabtree Ethan Crabtree 6'5" | SG Coldwater | 2022 State MI (2022, PF, Coldwater, Michigan Lightning)
College coaches will love watching Crabtree play. He’s a versatile forward that excels in a physical game. He’s underrated as an athlete and can finish with authority.
Thomas Dillard Iv Thomas Dillard Iv 6'4" | SF Kalamazoo Central | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, Kalamazoo Central, Minor Threat)
Dillard is a valuable player to have on a roster. He’s a true 2 way player that can match up defensively at multiple positions. Dillard is smart and efficient on the offensive end.
Sam Hodgson (2022, F, Dansville, Michigan Titans)
Hodgson could be ready for a breakout season. Scouts and coaches should have his name earmarked as a prospect to be aware of in the coming months.
Jack Karasinski Jack Karasinski 6'5" | SF Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2022 State MI (2022, SF, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, MBA 16u National)
Karasinski is one of the top wing prospects in the midwest. He’s a diverse scorer, having the ability to attack off the dribble and range beyond the 3 point line. Karasinski can play in an offensive set as well as in transition.
Brady Titus Brady Titus 5'10" | PG Tri-Unity Christian | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Tri-Unity Christian, UTS Elite 16u NY2LA)
Titus should be considered must see for manyt college coaches. He shows up every single game, and you can tell, he’s a winner with a winner’s mind frame.
Alex Watters Alex Watters 6'1" | CG Lansing Catholic | 2022 State MI (2022, CG, Lansing Catholic Central)
Watters has a huge upside as a prospect. I think the ceiling is VERY high for this young player. He can play on or off the ball and has a great basketball IQ. Watters will affect the game on both ends as well.
