Cole Anderson Cole Anderson 6'3" | PG Clovis West | 2021 #183 Nation CA-N 6’3 SG Everybody Eats 2021 (#2PHNC 2021) – Anderson was as good of a shooter that I’ve seen in person all year. He has it all, quick release, textbook form and consistent follow through. He made them in catch in shoot, off the bounce and from mid range.
Jackson Young 5’9 PG Everybody Eats 2024 – Perhaps the most impressive player I saw all weekend was young. He looks like he just finished the 8th grade, but he didn’t play like it. Against elite competition Young proved he belonged, knocking down several big 3’s throughout the weekend. He was money from the corner, and showed the ability to get his shot off against rapidly closing defenders.
Christopher Hardy 6’0 PG So Cal Buzz 2021 – Anytime the Buzz needed a big shot Hardy Delivered. More of a scorer than a shooter, the 6’0 PG showed the ability to bang home 3’s in catch and shoot situations.
Ryan Abelman Ryan Abelman 6'4" | SG Bishop Gorman | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG LV Orange 2022 (#4PHN 2022) (featured image) – Perhaps no one was as happy as I was to watch Abbleman go nuts. He knocked in 6 3’s against So Cal Buzz, re-staking his claim as one of the top shooters in the state of Nevada.
Darvelle Wyatt 6’5 PF Prodigy 2021 (#70PHSC) – I loved what Wyatt did. He may be an undersized 4, but he showed a terrific ability to step outside and stretch the floor. He made a total of 5 3’s in bracket play, helping Prodigy take home the crown.
Uriyah Rojas 6’1 PG Prodigy 2021 (#64PHSC 2021) – Rojas was marvelous all weekend. He consistently knocked down shots from all over the floor. Rojas certainly proved that he has range, but what I liked most about his shooting was his efficiency. He never seemed to take a bad shot, and seemed to knock down any ones he did take. He had 5 3’s in the Championship game to lead Prodigy to the title.
