AAU basketball didn’t kick off, and it only kind of kicked off, in very late June. NIKE programs were and still are completely disallowed from competing at any events. For example, Team Thad , the newest NIKE-sponsored team in Tennessee can not play as Team Thad , so they are playing here and there as “Team Reform Sports Training Elite.” It is a mouthful. Other programs are either completely shutdown for the season or dipping their collective toe in the water. One of the best 16u teams from a year ago, RFS Elite, joined PSB-Nashville this off-season and then became PSB-Nashville-Beasley. This team decided not to to begin their AAU season until August, when the threat of contracting the virus would hopefully be smaller regionwide.
Paxton Davidson Paxton Davidson 6'3" | PG Green Hill | 2022 State TN (Green Hill)
Paxton camped with Harding University Friday. “I was there yesterday until 5,” shared Davidson Saturday morning via Twitter DM. “Was going to Delta State today, but coach called Thurs afternoon to let us know the college made them cancel. I’m heading to Lee University tomorrow.” Harding is a college in Arkansas that features 9 Arkansas-raised hoopers on their squad. For what it is worth there are no TN-based players in their program currently.

Quentin Carr Quentin Carr 6'2" | PG South-Doyle | 2022 State TN (South-Doyle)
Saturday, Quentin elite camped with Lee University and took a look around their campus. Carr is classified as a priority camper in that he was invited directly by an assistant coach…a coach that is in contact with him more than sending form letters and questionnaires. For Lee, Coach Cole Rose is the point man handling Carr’s recruitment.
Jasen Brooks Jasen Brooks 6'1" | PG Cleveland | 2023 State TN (Cleveland)

The following is an incomplete list of programs already contacting without contacting Jasen Brooks Jasen Brooks 6'1" | PG Cleveland | 2023 State TN : Florida State, Purdue, Georgia, N.C.
