Over the years it has been a proving ground for many NBA players. During the summer you can go to many parks and see major college talent playing on their home courts. We have come up with our top 50 from this league.
50. Zisi Blades 6”4. 2021 Christ the King HS
Makes our top 50 because every team needs a leader. A leader who sacrifices his game for the team. You have to be tough in the city catholic school league and this player is as tough as they come. Really smart player with a lot of talent. Can finish at rim. A coaches dream and a player that does whatever it takes to win.
49. Matt Montello 6”5. 2021 McClancy H S
At 6”5 Matt is a catch and shoot player. He has an uncanny ability to time his blocked shots on the defensive end. Can score at all three levels.
48. Matt Gonzalez. 6”3 2021 Xaverian HS
A top defender in the city. He is also a very skilled shooter. He can get to the rim or pull up .
47. Jaidan Williams. 6”4. 2023 Cardinal Hayes HS
Led the freshman team last year for Hayes. Coach is excited about his varsity career. Knows how to score. Uses his bulky frame well. Can finish with a monterous dunk.
46. Robert Zmudjzin. 6”5. 2021 McClancy HS
Don’t be fooled by this 6”5 240 pound big man. He can run the floor. A space eater who uses his body in the post. Really good finisher. Has improved every year.
