Because of the lockdown, several players who would be blowing up right now are going overlooked. In this article, PH takes a look at some of the top players unsigned players in the c/o 2021. Note: For the purpose of this article we will look at players without an offer in the c/o 2021.
Jan Madi Ngock Jan Madi Ngock 6'6" | PF Trinity | 2021 State NV 6’6 PF Trinity International (#7) – JMN has the size and athleticism to be a terrific power forward at the next level. He has struggled with consistency and injury questions, but when healthy and playing well his impact is easily felt. A good R&J athlete, that can clean the glass at both ends, Ngock could be a nice sleeper for the right program.
Dayshawn Wiley Dayshawn Wiley 6'4" | SG Desert Pines | 2021 State NV 6’3 SG Desert Pines (#10) – Wiley is a lights go on type of guy. A player that seems to play better the higher the competition, the 6’3 wing has D1 athleticism and can score the ball in a variety of ways. Perhaps no player was as hampered by the lockdown as Wiley, whose explosion and finishing ability translate well in AAU settings.
Cameron Kimble Cameron Kimble 6'4" | SG Clark | 2021 State NV 6’4 SG Clark (#12) – Kimble has been receiving interest from a ton of schools over the last year. I think now is the time for someone to pull the trigger. The 6’4 wing is a silky smooth scorer that puts the ball in the basket a variety of ways.
Jonathan Braggs Jonathan Braggs 6'3" | SG Bishop Gorman | 2021 State NV 6’3 SG Bishop Gorman (#11PHN) – As his shot goes, so goes Braggs. When he is knocking down open shots, he plays with a confidence that allows his physical frame, and overall skill set to be highlighted. At his best he is a power guard with the defensive versatility to defend multiple positions.
Mason Mich’l Mason Mich’l 6'7" | PF Desert Oasis | 2021 State NV 6’7 PF Desert Oasis (#42) – You usually don’t find sleepers this far down the rankings list, however Mich’l is an unusual talent. The stretch 4 has a feathery touch, with the ability to pull opposing bigs away from the basket. He also has a good first step, and is an explosive R&J athlete that can finish at the rim with power.
