Here is a look at the guards and wings from the BBE Challenge:
2021
Jordan Nesbitt Jordan Nesbitt 6'6" | SF St. Louis Christian | 2021 State #93 Nation MO 6’6 St Louis Christian: The big shooting guard led his team to the championship with his versatile offensive game which featured buckets from all three levels. He really had the 3-point stroke working on this day. He is physically stronger than most guards who try to defend him.
Nick Kern 6’5” Vashon: The slashing wing is a resourceful bucket-getter. He is tough on the drive and shoot from the perimeter. He is a very good offensive rebounder who also excels in the transition game.
Victory Naboya Victory Naboya 6'8" | PF Greenwood | 2021 State MO 6’7 St Louis Christian: The Rutgers commit is an excellent 3-point shooter, but he has other ways to beat the defense. He had some nice takes off the dribble and he could back down and shoot over smaller defenders.
KJ Lee KJ Lee 6'6" | SG Fort Zumwalt North | 2021 State MO 6’6 Fort Zumwalt North: The smooth wing is a knock down shooter from 3-point range. His ball handling and passing skills have also continued to evolve.
2022
Robert Martin 5’9 CBC: The diminutive point guard is a scoring threat from all three levels. He can accelerate in the open court and stop and pop from the mid range. He also displayed his 3-point shooting range.
Kellan Thames 6’4 Pattonville: Slashing young wing who played with tremendous energy. He attacked the rim very well and was always filling the lane on the break. He also hit an open 3-pointer.
Kristian Davis Kristian Davis 6'3" | SG Chrisitan-O'Fallon | 2022 State MO 6’3 Christian-O’Fallon: A strong, physical guard who looked to push the pace. He consistently froze defenders with his hesitation move to the basket. His finishing skills were very good
2023
B.J. Ward 6’0 Chaminade: Talented young guard who did an excellent job on the championship team. He could run the show from the point or play off the ball with his 3-point shooting. He is also a solid defender.
