Shooting has become an essential part of basketball today. Every program could use more guys that can space the floor and put the ball in the hole. The DMV area is loaded with those types. Here are 6 available shooters who should be ready to make an impact at the next level from day one.

Tekao CarpenterTekaoCarpenter6'1" | PGTC Williams | 2021StateVA | TC Williams (VA)

Carpenter earned second-team All-District honors last season and is a strong candidate to truly breakout soon. A skilled 6-foot-2 guard who can light it up from the perimeter and is adept at creating space, he is a proven shotmaker who can compete at a high level as we saw last summer when he was with Team Durant.

Ryan CornishRyanCornish6'3" | CGSidwell Friends | 2021StateMD | Sidwell Friends (DC)

On a Sidwell team that struggled to find offense at times, Cornish was a constant threat in part as a result of his long-range shooting ability. He is a skilled ball-handler who can isolate and consistently create looks from 1-on-1 scenarios. Cornish is equally effective moving without the ball and is always ready to shoot.

Cole HaninColeHanin5'10" | PGBullis | 2021StateMD | Bullis (MD)

Hanin is an efficient lead guard
