Recently I had the chance to observe the Reach Higher Kings organization both workout as well get in some live action at HoopSeen’s Atlanta Jam, here are my observations of the first of their two 16U groups, both possess a fascinating variety of risers sure to be making contributions to their varsity teams this winter.

REACH HIGHER KINGS (MAZER/VINSON)

Davis McCarnDavisMcCarn6'4" | SGProvidence Christian | 2022StateGA (6-3, SG, Providence Christian, pictured above) - Spotlighted in earlier pieces, terrific shooter with bomber’s range well beyond the arc, likes the catch and shoot but can create space for his jumper with the bounce, good size makes him a difficult guard, pretty good foot speed allows him to drive it as well, one of the summer’s real sleeper "emergers" because of his natural scoring eye and innate basketball savvy.

Cody Howell (6-3, SF, Forsyth Central) - Like his athletic ability and versatility, great motor and understanding, good decision-maker seeking his own offense or setting up teammates, has shooting range but doesn’t mind getting in the thick to draw contact or do some dirty work inside on the glass at both ends, good leaper but can play through contact, does a lot of things winning
