Kory Davis Kory Davis 5'11" | PG York Prep | 2022 State SC – York Prep (Rock Hill) – 1-Carolina
Davis plays for his father here and on his high school team. Davis can really speeds on the floor with his quickness. Kory has the ability to connect on shots from mid-range and downtown behind the 3 point line. Davis really penetrates the gaps well and has the ability to penetrate and kick to the open man. Davis takes a lot of pride in playing defense on the ball.
Samaad Wright Samaad Wright 6'0" | CG Blythewood | 2022 State SC – Blythewood HS – PSB Elite UA Rise 16
Wright has been a consistent player all summer for the Charlotte based Grassroots program. Wright has a knack to score the ball from the back court. Wright plays the game very unselfish on the floor. Wright really seems to be in the right place on the floor most of the time to make a play. Wright has good selection and doesn’t look to force shots.
Khalil Cooke Khalil Cooke 6'5" | SF Spring Valley | 2022 State SC – Spring Valley HS – Carolina Cavs
Cooke has really grown in height this past year. Cooke a big guard-wing can knockdown shots on the perimeter or create havoc in the passing lanes with deflections. Cooke fills the lane very well in transition and really can defend multiple positions on the floor with his versatility.
Leslie Owens Jr Leslie Owens Jr 6'6" | SF 212 Sports Academy | 2023 FL – Sumter HS – PSB Elite 16U Larkin (pictured on the front)
Owens keeps on expanding his game to the back court. Owens a great frame already on him and now is starting to handle the rock in the back court. Owens rebounds the ball very well from his position on both ends of the floor. Owens has the ability to bully defenders on both ends of the floor. Owens feels very comfortable shooting the elbow jumper. Owens is looking to have a breakout season for the Gamecocks and Head Coach Bryan Brown.
Cyrus Ellison Cyrus Ellison 6'4" | SF Hannah-Pamplico | 2022 State SC – Hannah-Pamplico HS – Upward Stars Pee Dee
Ellison a dual sport athlete plays over in Florence County at a small Class 1A school. Ellison is a run-jump-athlete on the floor and a wide receiver on the football field. Ellison plays the game with a lot of determination and heart – never takes a moment off with his MOTOR. Elliosn averaged 17.9 ppg and 8.9 rebounds last season for the Red Raiders.
Zachary Davis Zachary Davis 6'8" | CG Denmark-Olar | 2022 State SC – Denmark-Olar HS – Big Shots Elite SC Premier 2022
Davis a slender-sleek guard has saw a growth spurt over the past year. Davis plays for his father at Denmark-Olar HS. Davis likes the ball in his hands and has great length. Davis can get the ball to the rack with his rangy frame. Davis still must get stronger down the road and be able to finish on contact better. Davis should really make some noise this season for the Vikings in the Class 1A ranks.
